My husband does everything sooooo slow. I think I move at least 5X faster than him and sometimes up to 10X depending on what it is. We all joke about it openly now which diffuses the frustration. Watching Zootopia has given us the sloth sense of humor. Anyway...would like some commiseration and/or funny stories at this point.

My husband often takes FOREVER to answer me or acknowledge me when I talk to him. I often think he hasn't heard me because he doesn't answer right away.

Haha!! I just don't think men get the urgency. I like to move around constantly and get everything done quickly. DH is like "it'll get done". I also think of 100 things to do a day. It obviously doesn't take him as long to get "a few" things done. LOL!

DH is slow in the fact that he's indifferent/non-chalant about stuff. He's never in a hurry to do things and "will get to it later". So annoying!!

@Andrea: see, my father does. If I call him and tell him I have a problem at the house, the guy drops everything and comes over with his toolbox. My husband, on the other hand, will get to it when he gest to it. He will be browsing the internet, doing nothing in particular, but unless he decides he is done, he doesn't care that I have some broken thing.

@looch: my dad is the same as my DH so it's funny because my mom always calls to vent about my dad's sloth behavior. I'm like leave him alone. He's almost 70 and not going to change!

90 minutes from the time he gets out of bed to the time he finally emerges from the shower. Every day, without fail. Among many many other things. The only thing he ever rushes is our daughter's eating - ironic, since it takes him 2 hours to finish a bowl of cereal.

His chores are not automatic. I think when he says he spent the day cleaning the house (he's off mid-week), I think he REALLY did spend ALL DAY!! The thing that bugs me daily is doing the dishes slowly. I just want it to be done (without me doing them- hehe) so we can get on with family time. He takes forever. LO and I were watching him for about 10 seconds too long and my mouth hung open with how he did it. We whispered he looked like the sloth (ok, I did) and he turned and gave us a sloth smile and blink.....our conversation still unbeknownst to him. It was hilarious. -
Yep! One of our biggest fights was related to this. When we started making bottles for DD I would be holding her and DH would sloooooowly make a bottle. Meanwhile baby is screaming bloody murder. I told him to hurry it up and that I could make a bottle faster while holding our DD.
I know I need to be more patient but it drives me crazy!

Oh my goodness, I can relate to everything on here! The pooping, dish washing, cleaning, showering. I'd guess that 90% of our fights relate to him being slow, making us late, etc. it actually makes me feel so much better that it's not just us/him!
