@MrsF: Costco last year had a pack that has three pillars that are also on timers. So I don't have to go switch them all on and off.

I got the ones they sell at Home Depot - they have timers on them and have lasted several seasons (using every day)

Oh yeah, we got some good ones a few years ago that still work and are a nice soft yellow light and not blue! Let me look up the name and I will write back. I believe I got them from qvc.com

Thanks ladies! We don't have a Costco membership anymore (not one very close to us) but I wish we did!

@MrsF: ok, FYI.... This is our third year with these and 3 of them aren't working with new batteries inserted, so I recall my recommendation.
annoyed.I liked these because they have a sensor and you can set the number of hours to stay on. Boo.

Not sure of the brand, but my mom has ones that have a sensor instead of a timer. So when it gets dark, they turn on. There's nothing to have to set.

The ones i have look more yellow though and I prefer a candle that glows more white.

so I have two I just got at target. I like a more yellow look and they say warm white but they seem cool white to me. or at least, 'cooler' than the older style ones I have from Benny's years ago

@MrsF: yup! I actually do like them. it just irks me that they don't "match" the others perfectly, but no one knows except me because they're in different areas of the house anyway. I'll get a photo for you if you want!
