I've had CTS (carpal tunnel syndrome & cubital tunnel syndrome) and Tendonitis from work before I ever got pregnant. I've done all sorts of treatments and the doctors have basically told me I need surgery to fix my pains. Recovery is 6 months per arm, I was told. So in light of that, I've figured I'd wait to get the surgery after I'm done having kids and they are walking age? But with each pound K gains, my arms/hands are flaring up with shooting pain and numbness. This week there have been a couple of times I felt like I didn't have a strong enough grip on her and she was sliding out of my hands, or a sharp shooting pain might make me loosen my hold on her. I'm so thankful for carriers like the Ergo and K'tan. IDK how I'd survive without those. But, back to topic... has anyone here had the surgery for CTS? How was the recovery? Do you think you could manage caring for your LO(s) after the surgery? I really don't know if I could hold out much longer...
