DH speaks Spanish with DD. He's fluent but not a native speaker. I'm sure you already realize this, but the best thing you can do for your daughter's Spanish is to speak to her in Spanish. Far more important than playgroups or even books. I speak to my DD in Korean. It felt super awkward at first but it quickly became second nature. There are basically no resources for Korean speaking families in my area, but she can speak and understand it. We have 2 books in Korean.

As for books in Spanish, have you checked your local library? Our neighborhood branch is pretty crappy but even they have a pretty good Spanish kids' collection. If they don't see if they will order books for you.

If you're not against screen time, you can also check out ICDL (Intl Children's Digital Library). Some books are available to order by Amazon.

My husband and I are both native Spanish speakers but don't do the best job of speaking to DS in Spanish. Luckily my mom watches him and only speaks to him in Spanish. I've gotten him a few toys that have Spanish settings. I've bought a few books from Amazon but wasn't too pleased with the selection. When I think about it, I repeat things to him in both English and Spanish.

We don't speak Spanish but we plan on getting her into Spanish classes when she hits elementary school. Daycare offers it but we don't want to spend the extra money to put her in right now.

DH and I are both children of immigrants, so we speak Spanish fluently, and it is still so incredibly hard to speak Spanish to our boys because our first instinct is English. My advice would be to develop a plan and really stick to it.

With our oldest, I spoke to him exclusively in Spanish and DH in English for about 2 years, and after that, we both switched on and off. We asked our parents and childcare providers to speak to him in Spanish whenever possible, since he would hear English everywhere else. It worked great. He's 11 now, and fluent with a great Spanish accent, and can actively participate in conversations where we tranisition in and out of Spanish.

We haven't been so disciplined with our youngest {he's 13 months} but still speak to him in both languages, and have again enlisted the help of family and childcare providers.

As far as books, my local Target has a section devoted to Spanish/bilingual books that I purchase from regularly, and occasionally at TJ Maxx. Once they're older, and not trying to eat them, the public library is a great resource too.

No Spanish here, but we are a bilingual household and DS is learning a 3rd language at his bilingual school. I would suggest speaking/reading to her as much as you can, listen to Spanish music and if you can do skype/FaceTime with Spanish speaking family, that would be great. I know some Barnes and Nobles in bigger cities have Spanish language children's books, so you could look there too.
