Enjoying life w/ DD! Some days the baby fever is bad, but mostly I actually don't want to share DD with anyone else!

2. Why are you waiting: Financial reasons only; need to pay off some other debt before we are ready for a 2nd daycare bill
3. What are you looking forward to before TTC: Enjoying the one on one time with DS! I will totally feel guilty having to split my time between 2.

1. Baby #: 3 DS1 is 3, DS2 is 6m.
2. Why are you waiting: DS2 is only 6m old. Since I had/will have c-sections, doc said to wait a min of 9 months. We will wait until he's around a year (July).
3. What are you looking forward to before TTC: DS1 being out of diapers, reducing clutter in the house, seeing DS1 and DS2 interact more!

Just soaking up this time with just LO. Even with the "terrible twos," this is a great age and I feel like I am really getting to know who she is.

We've been waiting forever. I started working at two new clinics at the end of last year, and I would like to be well settled in and working for about a year before I have to tell them that I'm pregnant. Financially, we want to save more. There are renos we want to finish up in the house. We want to take a trip. All stuff that we should be able to accomplish by late summer/fall, hopefully!
3. What are you looking forward to before TTC:
Just enjoying stress-free time with DH. I'm trying to be thankful for the little things!

DS is almost 17 months
2. Why are you waiting:
I want closer to a 3-year age gap for a few reasons, like that DS misses the school cutoff in our area (early Sept. birthday) and I want the kids to be at least 2 years apart in school. In general I like the idea of DS being slightly more self-sufficient (closer to being potty trained), and selfishly I'm enjoying the STTN for now!
3. What are you looking forward to before TTC:
DH and I have a trip to Europe planned for June (my sisters will watch DS while we are gone - way easier to do that with one than two!) We are pulling the goalie when we get back!

3. What are you looking forward to before TTC: We have a couple awesome trips this summer. We're going to the Dominican Republic in May (with DD and tons of extended family). And we're going scuba diving in Bonaire in July (which I couldn't do if I was pregnant).

We want LOs to be about 3 years apart, I need to lose the "baby weight" (you can still call it that 17 months later, right??), and DH is a teacher, so we're trying to plan around his schedule this time

I really have fun with my son now that he's not really a baby anymore, I appreciate this time to focus on him. We moved twice last year so I'm enjoying being settled in our forever home before a new little person shakes everything up again.

2. Ideally I'd prefer closer to a 2.5 year age gap. Also we're planning a trip to Disney world is December that I don't want to cancel because of a newborn or being in my 9th month.
3. Also our Disney world trip. But more importantly getting to spend more time with dd as an only child.

@peachykeen: Yes, it's still baby weight, for sureeeee! I need to get on that too.. I can't imagine the horror if I just kept the weight and went on to get pregnant again!

2. I have to spend the better part of 6+ months on the other side of the country from DH for work. I don't want to have to take care of an infant without him, childcare would be a mess, plus traveling to see each other would be a lot more complicated.
3. What are you looking forward to before TTC: date nights! I was kind of bummed about the situation for awhile because I really have the fever and it seems like forever til fall, but I'm trying to focus on all the positive aspects of it.

I joined this site 4 years ago, and in my introduction declared we were only a year or less away from TTC. HA!
But seriously, I think at this point we're *actually* a year or less from TTC 
1-Baby #1 for us
2-The timing was never right before! I was finishing grad school, we dealt with extended unemployment and major debt, we moved cross-country--a whole shitstorm of events, basically. But now we're settled, employed, have paid off (most) debts, bought a house...it seems like the right time-or as good as it will get.
3. I would like to lose some weight (stupid desk job) and we would like to take a big trip to visit DH's family in South America. And get settled/purchase the major things we need for the new house!

Well first off I'm still not sold on another. Some days I feel the fever and others I think "I am so happy with the way things are right now, I'm finally comfortable as a mom, my marriage is back to normal, I sleep 8 hours a night, why would I want to change it up???" Newborn phase was rough on me. I would also like a 3-ish year age gap - more independence, understanding of baby, etc. plus he can be in preschool while I'm home with just baby.
And we have to do IVF w/PGD and I just don't want to start that yet.
So my answer is multifaceted
3. What are you looking forward to before TTC:
Enjoying life. Life is good right now (couldn't have imagined saying that a year ago!) and if we are going to change things up, I know it'll be tough for a bit, so I want to savor the ease of just one. Also a lot of my friends are starting to have their 2nd children - so I am looking forward to seeing how it goes for them and to suck up any advice they have BEFORE we have a 2nd.

1. Baby #: 2! DD turns 2 next week.
2. Why are you waiting? We were pregnant twice last year and lost both babies so we decided to wait until January, then my in laws told us they're taking the whole family on a trip this June and we decided we didn't want to be pregnant during that trip. So we'll be trying as soon as we get back! I also need to go do some testing to get on clomid and I'm going to go get my thyroid and other hormones checked.
3. What are you looking forward to before TTC? Wine! Haha. But really, I'm enjoying my daughter, enjoying her being potty trained, she's so funny and sings and pretend plays now. I'm enjoying a stress free life before all the testing starts and blood draws.

I want to lose weight, want at least a 2yr gap (preferably 2.5-3), and had a high needs colicky first baby. Not totally sure I can handle two!

I love spending time with DD, and watching her grow! A trip to San Diego next month, and I'd like to plan a family trip perhaps. Maybe to Chicago or Orlando depending if we take DD!

I've also been thinking about this a lot. I'm totally on the fence about it.
1. Baby #: 2. LO1 is 6 months, so we'd wait until after her first birthday to start TTC.
2. Why are you waiting: My husband is a teacher so the best time to conceive would be late summer/early fall and I originally wanted a 3 year gap but now I'm thinking I want a 2 year gap. But I'm already mourning EBF! And I'm worried about moving. If we have another we'll have to move and we are about to move right now so that stresses me out. We are about to move into a 1 bedroom from a studio apartment and having to find a 2 bedroom gives me anxiety. Ugh the pleasures of living in Silicon Valley! But we want a boatload of kids so we need to get on top of things if we want a bunch. And I just really want my family! I have this idea of what my family will be like (utter chaos, lol) and when I see my daughter growing it makes me want the rest of my family.
3. What are you looking forward to before TTC:
Just spending time with my daughter. Being a small family. Maybe sleeping for 8 hours (or even 5 hours in a row). Losing weight. Living very close to my husband's work for the short amount of time we can afford it. Right now DH has a 2 hour daily commute and we are moving 1.1 miles from his work. I'm so excited.

We are going on our honeymoon in April, and I am also matron of honor in a wedding in November, so I don't want to be too far along at her wedding. TTC in May!

2. DH & I haven't yet discussed when to start trying, but we both hope to have a 2nd & we are both older, so we'll need to get on it sooner than later! I'm SAHM to LO & DH expects to be able to transition to a new, higher paying job this summer. We are both a little concerned about having a good grasp on the costs for 1, let alone a 2nd kid on only his income.
3. We are definitely enjoying LO1's development, and while I wonder how I'll have the energy for a new baby with a toddler, I definitely have some baby fever.

Watching my DD and DS relationship continue to grow. DS just turned 2, DD turns 4 in August. I'm really looking forward to our wedding since the 11th would make 4 years that we have been together.

Well, our first is only 7 months right now. We want to wait until she is at least one. Also, we are going to be buying a house thing spring/summer so want to get settled a little first!
3. What are you looking forward to before TTC: Still not getting my periods (thank you, BF!) and enjoying time with DD. I can't wait to see her grow into more of her own personality. It will be tough having to split my time with a toddler and a newborn and I want to give her all the attention I can now. I also can't wait to get a house!
