I need a new mattress, on a budget. But these seem too cheap to be true! Anyone use something similar?

We have 3 cheap amazon mattresses. We've been happy with them all. 2 best price mattress and one signature sleep.
Go firmer than you think you want if it's an everyday mattress. Our one complaint is that ours is a bit soft

We have a cheap foam Amazon mattress my sister got us for Christmas one year. She got it because her (very wealthy) in-laws have them at their house. We like it. We got a foam/inner spring combo one for our daughter and love that too. We didn’t get straight foam one for her because they’re not bouncy and our kids love to bounce on the beds.

We have a "bed in a box" and love it! We plan to put them on all the beds once we move

I got cheap memory foam mattress like this from Wayfair, overstock and Walmart. All have been a pleasant surprise.

@CatchAFallingStar: yes! We have this exact mattress. We bought it for DS1’s big boy bed (full size) in June. We’ve been so happy with it we just ordered DS2 the same one. I’m currently laying on it as I type.

@CatchAFallingStar: I recently just got the Lucid brand on Amazon b/c I needed 10" and Zinus didn't have it in Twin XL.
I've been sleeping on it for probably a month? I really love memory foam! DH was totally skeptical but now he's into it too. I made sure to let it "inflat" after shipment for a full 48 hours (I read thousands of reviews lol) so that it inflated evenly. It's been great! I'm used to firm mattress and my biggest fear is that it'd be too soft/saggy but no, it's amazing! bonus is that I co-sleep, so when I ninja off the bed, the part DD2 sleeps on doesn't move.

@CatchAFallingStar: We found a great option in our Live and Sleep mattress. Price fairly well and our guest say they had the best night's sleep. I also found their review's on the following site.

We got this exact brand in a king, and had to return it because it was too hard. My husband had terrible back pain while we had it, but good news is it was easy to return (although I had to pay $50 for pick up)

My dd has that same exact mattress and it's really nice! Especially for the price!

Right now I’m laying on the Lucid hybrid mattresss from Amazon. It feels very similar to our Tuft and Needle mattresss, just has a little less sink. I like my mattresses on the softer side. Our firm Casper is now in the kids’ room because I couldn’t get used to it.

I finally purchased one of these Zinus mattresses. Man, the smell is horrible! I cosleep and I’m worried that it’s not good for my baby’s lungs. Thoughts?

@CatchAFallingStar: Unfortunately it's normal for memory foam mattresses to smell for awhile. It's typically strongest for the first four days but can take weeks to fully air out. If you can, prop it up on it's side for a few days - that allows it to air out all on sides. Have the window open if you can.
You can also sprinkle baking soda on top, let it sit for an hour or up to a couple of days, and the vacuum it up with an upholstery brush.
A bowl of vinegar in the room can help absorb the smells from the room as the mattress releases them.

@CatchAFallingStar: we had one of those for like two weeks and had to return it. It smelled bad and my husband thought it was uncomfortable

@LAZB: so far, I’m not loving it... it feels really hot and too squishy!!
Can anyone recommend a better mattress that won’t cost a ton?
The one I bought is Zinus.

@CatchAFallingStar: we love our nectar. It's amazing and no smell. We've had it through a pregnancy and cosleeping with no concerns
