We're looking to hire a sitter to watch B for a few hours a day between when I leave for work and DH gets home if I decide to change work schedules. I've seen the commercials for Care.com and the site looks like it could be a great resource since we don't know anyone first hand. Have you used it or know anyone who has?

I've browsed it but I haven't called anyone from it yet. I get a free subscription through my employer. I know lots of people around the office have used it to find babysitters.

We found our sitter on care.com. Love her!

We used it to find our nanny. My husband got a subscription through work and I found it pretty easy to use. This was about two years ago so it may have changed since then but I do recommend it.

We used care to find our nanny. We couldn't be more thrilled with our experience. Our nanny has experience with special needs and has early childhood education credits and is definitely a gem. I will always like care for enabling us to find such an amazing care taker who loves our daughters so deeply!

I found a sitter there! We used her once and then a sorority sister of mine offered to sit, which was awesome!!!
We also found a back up sitter that I am now on a personal email list serve with.

I'm sure it's hit or miss but we found our wonderful sitter on care.com. I posted an add and got lots of responses to pick from.

A coworker found her family daycare provider on care.com and loves her. I used the site but wasn't satisfied with any of the options in my area. Instead I found our daycare provider from the state's database.

Yep! We found our nanny on there.

I have in the past. I prefer sittercity.com, though. I think it is easier to use.
