Charlie has been getting hiccups a lot lately, and a friend suggested trying gripe water. She's also started spitting up her entire meal twice a day starting yesterday. I guess gloating that she wasn't a spitty baby has bit me in the rear

We used it a lot in the beginning. It was the only thing that would make her stop crying!

Gripe water worked great for DS's hiccups. He didn't mind the taste either.

@StbHisMrs: I loved gripe water, it really helped my LO especially the wellements brand but i used it mainly for gas. It does help with hiccups but hiccups are normal in newborns and they go away by themselves

We used it a couple of times as a newborn. I don't think it really helped but it didn't hurt!

I'm adding it to my list today then, I'm sure she keeps getting a gas bubble that she can't get out until it's too late. I hope it helps!

We used the gripe water in her bedtime bottle for a while when she was an infant because she would wake up, screaming with gas pains (gas drops didn't do anything for us). Once we started using that, it seemed to stop the gas pains.

I bought a two pack from Amazon, hoping it would help with LO's gas. Of course he improved soon after, and I never had a chance to try it.

We used it for gas pains. The first time we used it she slept through the night!

We used it for gas when she was inconsolable...not sure if it worked, but it distracted her enough for her to start to calm down.
