You crazy!

I was waaaayyy too nervous to use P&P after #1 was born, but I wanted to make sure I got back to work so I could take a full maternity leave again, and that meant waiting at least a year for us.

@PrincessBaby: we had 2 miscarriages too... still think you're crazy!!

We used the pull out method for 7 years and had no oppsies.. And then it took 6 months to finally get our oppsie!

Hell to the no. We are using condoms. Not ideal but I have NO desire to be pregnant again any time soon.

We used it before pregnancy ( nope p wasn't from an oops from PNP lol) and never has any oops

@PrincessBaby: this is us-exactly. I was on Bc for 6yrs before LO and it took me 6m to get BFP & even then my dr said I'd most likely lose him because the bC had done a number to my uterine lining. Anyways--- we use pull out method for that reason & for the fact that my milk supply is so low (I can only bF once-twice a day now with the rest being formula). If I get pregnant we won't be disappointed! Surprised but not upset...either way at about 12m PP we plan on trying. I'd say do it;)
I will say one thing: after #2 I am def going on hormonal bC again!

Oh & another thing: I think it would actually be fun to get pregnant spontaneously...it's a weird fantasy of mine to just wake up one day and be like 'I feel funny' instead of having phantom symptoms for a whole 2 weeks, drinking fertilitea and popping B6, only to get a BFN

We're doing it now & always have! Works so far I hate BC pills & I can't even remember what a condom looks like (I hate them too!) so that has been our form of BC since forever!

We have never used any sort of birth control (we dont even pull out! !) since LO was born and she is 8.5 months and I am still not pregnant. I am breastfeeding and got my cycle back at three months pp. So I don't think youre crazy. We always BF on demand and I am still BFing throughout the night. I think nightfeedings really affect your fertility. ..maybe read about it on kellymom?

Yeah. Really hoping it works too. I refuse to go back on hormones, the copper IUD sketches me out and we don't do condoms. He better get that vasectomy soon....

We're really careful! I know that it's still technically possible though.

No Way! Too risky for us early on even though we had problems getting baby #1.

ETA: we also wanted to take some time to get our marriage back on track after the baby arrived. With all of the changes and lack of sleep, we wanted to be more than just two zombies passing in the night.

I'm thinking mirena. We are leaning towards one and done but if we had #2, it'd be after LO was 3-4 years old. So pnp isn't a good option for us

Nope. We'll use condoms until I get my period back and depending how sleep stuff goes, we'll either resume FAM/NFP to avoid or just keep with condoms.

We did this for a few months before we started trying. We're doing it now, too. I also knew where I was in my cycle, though so I knew when to abstain.

I don't think you are crazy. In fact, I'm seriously considering it. I also have two friends that are doing nothing but breastfeeding.

That's been our method for the past 8 years. I've never been on birth control, and it worked out just fine we aren't catholic, but "natural family planning" is a pretty respected method of birth control

No waaaaaay. 3 kids would not be good. We would be broke!

We have always used this method, never had an oops and when we wanted to conceive both times it happened in the first or second cycle. If your husband really does it right, I think it can be very effective. I think p&p has a bad name because teenage boys can't control themselves! I mean I know it's not foolproof but my doctor knows and she thinks it's ok.
