Yes! I have a 3 year old and a 5 month old. I'm 34 and though I know that's not old, I would prefer to be done with pregnancy and the newborn stage sooner rather than later. My plan is to wait until LO #2 is a year old. Some days I'm like, let's just do this! And other days I remind myself that I hate pregnancy and that my pact with myself (same as pre-TTC LO #2) is that I have to lose all the baby weight and be in great shape before another pregnancy. It's just a mental thing I have - like if I keep packing on preg weight and not dealing with it, the uphill battle to lose it all in the end will be sooo tough.

We are. I initially wanted to TTC next fall but I think we are going to shoot for a 3 year age gap...especially since we are likely only having two and I really like the idea of savoring the babyhood of each.

Us. We started to TTC earlier this summer but a chemical pregnancy got us thinking that maybe we need to wait a bit longer so that our finances are more in order. So we're waiting probably another year.

Kind of. DS is 6mo, and I'm not sure when we're going to start TTC, but our plan was always to have two. To be honest, I'm not 100% sure now that I want to go through a newborn stage with a toddler considering DH's limited time at home M-F because of his long work hours and commute.

now that micah is sleeping through the night, i kind of don't have any desire to have anothe one anytime soon. haha!

@snowjewelz: funny after last night I was reminded my baby is still a baby and needs me!
I have no desire to wait, but definitely want to cherish every second with her!!!!!!!

Previously I was on the fence about #3 because of what a crap sleeper #1 & #2 were/are. But now I'm solid again on wanting a third. Problem is we can NOT afford three in daycare. So DD1 needs to start kinder before #3 arrives. It's hard to plan....#1 took a year to conceive and #2 took 9m. Definitely no TTC in the next few months.

I totally get how you feel! I don't feel ready to be pregnant but I have all these pregnant friends... Every time I find out a new one I get this twinge of jealousy. In a way it's leftover from before, after my miscarriage before I got pregnant with my son.

And I know I want a second, I love my little guy so much that I both want another baby and don't every want to mess with my perfect baby's world! If that makes sense.

Kind of? We were talking about this just yesterday. We want LO to have a sibling, but we don't know how we'd handle another baby. LO is now 1 year old, and I am SO glad that newborn phase is over! I don't know how we'd handle a toddler and a newborn. I think LO is getting bored by herself, so I want her to have a sibling to play with.

Me. Not really sure what we want to do yet! I think if finances weren't an issue I would probably NTNP, but then again I agree with you on cherishing the alone time we have now and enjoying this time with him; and I was reminded today of the every 3 hour feedings, no sleep at night, and now that I'm finally getting sleep, I'm not so crazy about giving it up again!
Hopefully TTC next spring and have a 2 year age gap?

We plan to TTC #1 in July 2016. In the meantime, I am working on getting as healthy as possible and saving up for an extended maternity leave.

Sort of! We almost had an oops last month (we use condoms and didn't stop to get one on one day, and I later realized that FF said that it was the beginning of our fertile window...) and I would have been fine if I'd gotten pregnant but we just aren't quite ready yet! We want a little more of an age gap since lo is still such a baby (18 months next week) and doesn't reliably sttn. We're talking about starting ttc in the winter...ahhhhh

@snowjewelz: yes! waiting to ttc #1 until later next summer. baby fever is the worst.

We are waiting to TTC #2 until late next summer (right around when DS turns 2). Even though we both kind of have baby fever right now, ideally we'd like a 3ish year age gap so we are waiting! Also, we are planning a Europe trip for early summer 2016 while it's still easy(ish) to have our family stay with just one LO We're basically going to pull the goalie when we get back.

Yep! LO is 12 mo this weekend (eek!) and I had waffled between pulling the goalie sometime between 12-24 mo. Ideally I'd love a 3 yr age gap, but want a minimum of 2 yr gap. Took us a while and a miscarriage to get pregnant with LO, and I want a super low stress TTC this time around so we decided to pull it earlier than we usually would just to keep the pressure low. I had planned when she was 18 mo, but then thinking to move it up a couple more months (basically start in January when it would be a minimum 2 yr gap) but then had a bad stomach bug over the weekend and was imagining if I had bad morning sickness with the next pregnancy and having a toddler and then decided LO would be an only child! Ha. Not really but it definitely ground my baby fever down for a while. So waiting another 4-6 mo anyhow. I do get that jealous twinge when I hear about pregnancies too! Maybe that still is an echo from my miscarriage. Super weird. Also I see a lot of newborns at work which makes my ovaries go crazy and doesn't help any of this!

Me! We both are feeling ready, but I need to take my comps first. Pregnancy killed my brain first time around, so I want to have my qualifying exams out of the way. I should take them in October, so then it is game on!

Us! LO is almost 14 months but I might want to run a marathon in the spring so I think we will wait til after that.
