Hubs is finally getting out of the dark ages and trading in his flip phone (yes, you read that right) for a smartphone. And the smartphone he's decided to upgrade to is an LG G3. He wanted to know if anyone on the boards has had any experience with it. If you have one, what do you like about it? What do you dislike about it? Would you suggest a different smartphone? We're with Verizon.

i have the lg g2 and i like it. it takes much better pictures than the samsung galaxy or the iphone; that's the most important feature for me. the one thing that could possibly be annoying is the on/off button is located on the back as opposed to the side or top, but if your husband isn't used to any other placement since it's his first smartphone, it might not bother him at all.

@esther: Thanks hon, I didn't even know that about the on off button. He actually went ahead and got it today and apparently this is the first day they've been released? So my dork of a husband is on the cutting edge of phone technology for the first time in a decade. He's tickled pink but a little overwhelmed by all the stuff it can (supposedly) do. It'll be interesting to see how he likes it!

@Mrs. Grizzly Bear: DH has this phone and loves it. I'm upgrading this weekend (out of the dark ages too)! I think I'm going to get the same phone only in white.
I've played around with his a bit and really like the bigger screen, great picture quality, and it seems like bigger touch screen keys for texting.
