The swing! My baby LOVES to take all her naps in the swing. She always has and still does at 14 weeks. I will be sad when she longer can fit in the swing. She takes some awesome naps in the swing. We have the snugamonkey. It is pretty great.

My LO preferred napping in the swing but slept in the RnP at night for the first six weeks. I'm going to get a RnP bassinet this time around because I want the baby to be able to move his/her head more. We had issues with torticollis and slight plagiocephaly with R.

My LO 2 didn't like sleeping in it. She napped in the pnp or crib.

Never owned one for both kids. Swing, bassinet, and crib (well and the bucket seat!) for naps!

I don't have an r&p. M sleeps in pnp, bouncy, swing, crib, or laps for naps. He sleeps in his crib for most of them, now, and at night.

We used the Boppy Newborn Lounger until 8 weeks and LO loved it. She took naps, slept and chilled in that thing!

Why not just go ahead and let him nap in the crib? Lots of parents have the opposite problem!

I'd say to try the crib! Save you the trouble of trying to transition. At that age we were all about the swing though.

@runnerd: We were using the bassinet from the Vista on a rocking base during the day, but now we're using the crib during the day (and transitioning to crib at night too). I feel like each baby has their own individual likes and dislikes, so if a friend has something that you can try before you buy it might be a good idea! Interestingly he's fine with the Mamaroo but hates the Babybjorn bouncer so there's just no guessing.
