I know there are lots of posts already about apps for toddlers on HB, but the ones I read seems to be geared toward an older toddler. DD is 16 months and currently loves Fisher Price ABC and Peek-a-Zoo, but those are the only two I have. We'll be going on vacation soon and I need some new apps to keep her entertained on the flight! Any recommendations?

i bought the endless alphabet app (plus reader and numbers) and she seemed okay with it. she is 16 months. honestly, i wish i would have bought some episodes of bubble guppies for our flight!

N loves the app called rattle. I think it's annoying but he loves it.

There are a bunch of the Fisher Price apps and that is what we did from the beginning. He loves them. Books like Moo Ba La La La, There's a monster at the end of the book and Wheels on the Bus are good as well. The I Hear Ewe can be fun for learning animal sounds. Coloring Farm is a good one for them to just click and it colors the farm in. And different things pop up.

My LO likes the Fisher Price ones. I like them too because there are no ads.
She also likes Talking Pocoyo (Mrs. Bee did a review of Talking Tom which is basically the same thing). I bought the ad-free version because she kept touching the ads and leaving the app and it was driving me crazy!

He likes the Fisher Price apps. Also I really like PBS kids app. I put Sesame St on all the time for him and he loves it! It requires internet so that wouldn't work for a flight. You could purchase an episode of a show your LO likes for the flight too!

Hands down, 100%, absolutely get the Sandra Boynton apps (at least starting with Blue Hat, Green Hat). They guarantee me silence and good behavior no matter the situation.

@Mrs. Rabbit: @dolphin: @babynumber1: beware, they are addicting! She has Blue Hat, Barnyard Dance, Moo Baa, and Going to Bed Book. He sees my phone now and immediately says, "Da Shoe? PWEEZE!" It is hilarious and scary- he gets them only a couple times a week, but when he does he is like a boy playing video games.

@lemondrop: Barnyard Dance is the book in LO's bathroom. We read it over and over. I can actually recite the ENTIRE book without looking.
