@mrs. tictactoe: For what its worth, I don't think I will ever test. I just put my expected AF date on the list.

@RonniLeigh: Wow! You have had quite an eventful few weeks. Are you from the states? Where would you move back to? And I'm sorry about your DH's job. Something must have happened that wasn't good to cause him to quit so abruptly. I hope you all are okay!

@Boopers: I'm so sorry you are out this month. But maybe going on vacation, having fun at a wedding and celebrating your birthdays is just what you need to do the trick.

@LindsayInNY: I'm so glad to hear you are happy with how your RE appointment went. If you move forward with the IUI next cycle, you could be pregnant next month!!!!!!!!!!

@Raindrop: and @Crystal: You girls are up next!!
@RonniLeigh: I never saw a POAS update from you!

@MrsMcD: our one year is in June too, I don't know what well do yet. DH is havging a hard time accepting that we may have to look into next steps.
I'm 8DPO tomorrow. and trying to convince myself I don't need to waste money on FRERs.
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@Crystal: no, you don't need to buy them! Just wait for AF. If AF doesn't come, then you buy the HPT.

@Boopers: Bummers!! Haha I told a person that is getting married in July the same thing! ... still not BFP though. DH thought I was weird that I told them but I just wanted to be straightforward. Definitely funny how things work out.

@Raindrop: TWW? What TWW?
Just kidddddddinggggg!!!!! Bahahaaha. I'm dying too. But trying not to think about it. What DPO are you?
grapefruit / 4731 posts
@MrsMcD: I didn't do OPK this cycle. I'm CD32 ... my cycles are anywhere from 32-40 days.

@MrsMcD: Also as crazy as this is... I only have one symptom... hard nipples... normally they aren't hard at all ever. Also didn't have this on all my other months of trying. But new symptoms always show up each month we try.... So I might just be crazy and self inflecting these things on myself!
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@Raindrop: Wow! So you are in the range of when AF should be coming?!?! That's crazy!

@Crystal: I'm going to be an enabler.... test!!! what's the worse than can happen? I tested out of spite and got my BFP.

@MrsMcD: Aww. Thank you! It has been crazy, but honestly we're happier than we've been in a while! We are both from the States, but DH has dual-citizenship with Ireland so we've been living and working in the UK for a few years. We're just trying to decide now if we're going to stay here for a few more years or head back at the end of the summer.
Also, I tested on 03/30 and got BFN then had AF show up shortly after (typical). I'll potentially be testing again around 30/04 but might slip into May.
@Crystal: I know your pain. DH and I are at 1 year officially now. I've been taking it harder than him, but he's now getting involved in actively seeking treatment. We want 5 to 6 kids (
) so we better sort this stuff out pretty soon! Haha. I'll be happy with one or two to start. I agree with @MrsMcD: though. Just wait until AF is due then by the tests. It's easier to resist testing too early that way. Otherwise, I'd be going through them like candy. But that's because I'm OCD.

Thanks everyone! It's always nice to have something to look forward to after AF comes!
Crossing my fingers for everyone still waiting to test this month!
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@RonniLeigh: So sorry about AF. At least you have another chance this month!

I have some leftover wandfos, maybe I'll just use those. Though I think this is a bad batch, but at least it will let me give into the desire to POAlltheSticks.
I have 0 symptoms, though, so I doubt anything will show up.
@Raindrop: any new symptom is a good symptom!
@RonniLeigh: wow, what a crazy ride! Where are you from in the states?
DH thinks our only problem is poor timing, and he doesn't want to pursue anything before next year. He thinks since we had a BFP before (ended in MC), we can have one again.
@littlek: how are you, momma? I'm still over the moon thrilled for you. Has the spotting stopped?
@MrsMcD: how are you holding up in the TWW insanity?
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@Crystal: Hi lady! I always have zero symptoms but I have been pregnant ZERO times so that makes sense. I don't even look for symptoms anymore. I'm holding up fine during this TWW. What else can I do after 11 cycles of this already? How are you doing? You've got less than a week!!
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@Crystal: oh I only had one drop of blood on 9 DPO and nothing since. And it was more like EWCM with a blood streak. Thank goodness no spotting! :).
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@littlek: Neither do I! Looking back now, do you think you had any symptoms?
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@MrsMcD: only symptoms were super sense of smell and bloat but I didn't realize I had them until after I got my positive.

@Crystal: Popping in to be an enabler... I got my bfp last week on 8 dpo with wondfos! Confirmed with a frer and blood test later that day

My opk came today and so I just did it for fun and it is dark! Could I be ovulating this late?
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@MrsMcD: ugh, I don't even know how many cycles I am anymore- I lost count. My POAS date was my original anticipated AF date, so I'm thinking about pushing it back... I want to wait it out, but I don't know if I'll have the patience!
@littlek: @MrsMcD: I keep trying to compare how I currently feel with how I felt when I got my BFP, but I didn't even realize I had symptoms before I found out, so it's not doing me any good. I'm trying to keep my mind off of it, it's just not worth it to drive myself crazy.
@cram88: ugh! You aren't helping!!! lol congrats on your BFP!
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@Raindrop: girl, that's a positive! Get down to business!
Did you anticipate you ovulated earlier?
pomelo / 5607 posts
@Raindrop: Just a cheerleader here, but where are you in your cycle? Any chance it could be positive because you're pregnant?
grapefruit / 4731 posts
@Crystal: okay we are totally bding tonight
Yeah I am CD32 and my cycles are normally 32-40 and the two months I did opks I Oed around cd 17-20. But my cycles have been getting longer and my doc wanted me to opk for my next cycle when I talked to her last week.
grapefruit / 4731 posts
@Torchwood: I honestly don't know :). I have googling opk for pregnant and there is mixed results for that. I hope so! But either way we and BDing tonight just in case
grapefruit / 4731 posts
I also bought the pregnancy strips
Looks pretty stark white. But I guess this isn't morning pee either and early.
pomelo / 5607 posts
OPK's will definitely be positive (or close to it if it's REALLY early) when pregnant. I used them after I was sure I was pregnant and needed to reassure myself (still do, sometimes, just for fun), because I had so many. I'd say keep up the bd-ing and maybe test again in the morning, to cover all your bases? Good luck!
Also, don't take an opk and hpt at the same time. If they touch it can cause a false positive on the hpt. Ran into that, and was very confused.
grapefruit / 4731 posts
@Torchwood: oh I did them at the same time! Maybe that is what happen. Doh! Thank you so much for mentioning that. I will do the opk again later.
pomelo / 5607 posts
@Raindrop: As far as I know, the only risk is a false positive on the hpt, not the opk, so I'd say that's a real one.
grapefruit / 4731 posts
@Torchwood: actually had to pee again. Came out dark again. BDing tonight confirmed!
grapefruit / 4731 posts
@Torchwood: oh I totally misunderstood! :). Thanks for clearing that up.
