@Crystal: totally agree about the flowers thing! I love how much hope is tied up for spring, everything is starting to grow an I can pick fresh flowers from the garden for the house. I think this would be my favourite time of the year to have a baby.
Also.... It's our first anniversary on the 12th!!!
I think I'm on cycle 10 (well, will be once AF arrives next Monday) we have taken a break this month.
This will be my last cycle before starting treatment

Officially in the April club now. Was just a matter of time. But now I can drink in St. Martin! (Trying to find the little things these days...)

@LindsayInNY: boo I'm sorry :(. But yay for St. Martin! When are you leaving for your trip?

@littlek: We're going April 18-22. I try to avoid drinking in week two of the TWW but I'm due to O April 13 so I'll be fine!

Yesterday I had THE worst cramps. The pain was localized around my left side - I've never experienced these types of cramps, except for when I get AF.
I'll have to add this to my list of "symptoms that make me think I'm KU when I'm not." :-\ <<pessimism!!
ETA: I'm 4 dpo, so clearly, I am nuts.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!
@Sandy: Congrats!! I went over to the March board when littlek said you graduated.

Just took my first OPK of this cycle & my heart nearly jumped out of my chest when the second line came up Nope... Wrong test, Self. Relax haha. If you can't tell, all this testing is blending together!
@LindsayInNY: Yay for vacation! Sounds like the perfect way to unwind a bit!
apricot / 288 posts
@littlek: So true!! And the 2nd line comes up so fast! What a tease haha
GOLD / pomegranate / 3688 posts
@Kelli_Deluxe: LOL.
Where the F is AF? Seriously. She was due last night/this morning and I've got nothing. I usually start spotting at about 12 DPO - starts as light brown creamy CM and then gets heavier until it turns into AF. I've had a couple of really tiny bouts of spotting over the last few days, but nothing like "normal" and nothing today. Gah! Just show up already! I want to get this show on the road.

@LindsayInNY: What a fun vacation! Pure relaxing, or outings planned?
@septca: Did you test? Or do you know for sure AF is on the way?
I think I am O'ing a few days late this cycle, unless I have already missed my surge. Its my first cycle temping, so I think its making me more jumpy about it than normal.

@Crystal: Stark white FRER today at 15 DPO, so she's definitely on her way. Just taking her sweet time.

@Snowdrop: Is that your house? Its gorgeous!
@LindsayInNY: So sorry about AF. But at least you have a few things to look forward to.
@Kelli_Deluxe: OPKS are oddly one of the only things I enjoy about TTC.
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@septca: ugh, that's sooo annoying. Two cycles ago AF was late and I got my hopes up.. Then she showed up, it was a very sad day. I think it was the same day a co-worker announced her pregnancy.

@littlek: ((hugs)) that sucks. This is why I am a POAS addict, though. My LP likes to occaisonally play head games and be 15 days... so I like to know what I'm in for. Although my new batch of non-Wondfo cheapie tests arrives today (I am also an Amazon Prime addict), so I may feed the beast when I get home. Just because I like to POAlltheS.
GOLD / pomegranate / 3688 posts
@MrsMcD: Totally agree. OPKs are oddly satisfying. And since my house doesn't have super duper amazing swimmers that live longer than 7 days, I have to take any excitement I can get.
bananas / 9229 posts
@septca: I vote we change POAS to POAlltheS going forward. I like that much better. I also like super duper amazing swimmers. That's clearly my problem...
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@LindsayInNY: @septca: Dang it.. why can't my husband have super sperm... I know he *thinks he does, but clearly not so super..
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@septca: I ordered 20 HPT for next cycle.... I will definitely be POAS a LOT. I also bought some of the super fancy HPT that estimates the week. This is offically called, "putting all my eggs in one basket." I need to send DH our DTD meeting requests once AF shows... I'm not f**ng around this cycle... If I'm not DTD, I will be POAS.
GOLD / pomegranate / 3688 posts
@littlek: agreed. We are going full out this month.
Speaking of which, any thoughts on royal jelly? It didn't come up on my kitchen sink thread, but DH and I both took it before O the cycle I got my BFP. It could have been a coincidence because there were lots of other factors, too, so I am wondering if we should start it again.
apricot / 288 posts
@MrsMcD: @septca: Yes haha. It's exciting because I KNOW something's happening! And it satisfies my urge to be proactive since I know I get to POAS, any kind of stick!!
@littlek: I shouldn't laugh but I feel ya & I have to giggle at not f***ing around; can next month's board be Not F***ing Around May? (Fx we get lots of bfp's before then!!)
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@littlek: I'm not f*cking around either.
I thought I was going to be nonchalant this cycle. But I checked my fertility friend today and freaked out; took an OPK and got a positive. Now I'm thinking up an excuse to leave my office in an hour to rush home and demand some action from DH before he goes to work. I seriously don't know how to "NTNP" at this point.
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@septca: I put royal jelly in DH's shakes every morning or so for the past month. Mine too. Haven't seen any results yet...
Then DH googled royal jelly and found that it can cause death. I said "Are you allergic to bees? No. Then please just drink your shake." (I hope I don't kill him with the shakes.)
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@Kelli_Deluxe: I'm being silly, but totally serious at the same time.
bananas / 9229 posts
@septca: Have not done Royal Jelly... My doctor swears by "Pregnitude" so I've been taking that for the past month.
persimmon / 1259 posts
@MrsMcD: I don't know how successful I'll be at NTNP either...all I know is my cycles are wonky, and I won't be taking Clomid. I'll be starting Metformin, but not sure how quickly that's supposed to help. So I need to do my best to NOT obsess...but I'm sure I'll be using OPKs without DH knowing. But I won't be temping. I'm so nervous to let go of that control...
Also, GOOD LUCK with the BD!!!
grapefruit / 4731 posts
@Kelli_Deluxe: OPKS were actually oddly stressful to me! I tried them for 2 months and just quit using them. Because the days that it turned dark was a bad day to BD for us and it stressed me out that we missed our window.
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@Raindrop: Hi! This is happening to me today right this very second! I have a smiley face and no actual BDing to give me any sort of fighting chance this month.
persimmon / 1259 posts
@Raindrop: I can completely relate! I texted a pic of a smiley to my husband and it led to a stressful "failure," I really just need to let them go...
bananas / 9229 posts
@sarahnicole218: FWIW, I've known a couple (okay, two) people who got pregnant within a cycle or two of starting Metformin... Hopefully you're #3!!
