@Adira: Ahhhh, congratulations! So happy for you - Xander is going to be a big brother!!!

I wish I was joining you again as a December mama, but I got a BFN this afternoon Still spotting, almost nothing. Maybe it's from taking the B6 this month - lengthening my luteal phase, getting my hopes up.... anyway, apparently AF really is on her way, she's just late this month.

Time to pour myself a big glass of wine.

Update: I'm not sick- yay! But, I'm also not knocked up. I started my period within 30 min of my last post.

bummed I'm not pregnant, but, I'm glad to have an explanation for why I feel gross. And glad of the confirmation that I really did ovulate. I'm a bit concerned that I only had a 10 or 11 day luteal phase (I think 11, fertility friend says 10).

I really hope I don't have many periods before getting ku. This sucks; I'd forgotten how bad I feel in the 9 years of not having one.

@keepcalmcarrie: Ugh, I'm sorry, hon! But on the plus side, a long LP is a good thing, so if AF does rear her ugly head, at least next cycle might have better prospects!

@lilyofthewest: According to BabyCenter, December 16th! And I'm so sorry to hear AF showed up! Boo!!

@MrsMccarthy: Your timing was fantastic (even better than mine), so you HAVE to join me on the December boards!

@lilyofthewest: I'm so sorry honey. What a bummer. It's my understanding though that 10 days or more is sufficient for implantation so long as you don't spot a couple days prior to that. I really hope we see you with a BFP at the end of this month.

  24. MrsMccarthy

    honeydew / 7295 posts

@Adira: I will! I am pregnant until proven otherwise and still feeling amazingly hopeful about this cycle. It's making my husband a bit nervous how certain I am that this is our month but I just feel it in my bones. A little nervous about my LP but overall I feel like ovulating on my usual day and hitting so many days plus weaning, great diet and more sleep is gonna mean a BFP for us just before Easter. What a fun way to celebrate!

I'm very happy that 5 days in we already have 2 BFPs but sad for the testers who got negatives. I hope we will see BFPs from you all soon and more BFPs from upcoming testers.

@MrsMcCarthy: Back when I had periods, I usually had 25 to 27 day cycles, so, I may yet cram in to POAS again right at the very end of April. We'll see when I ovulate!

  26. Adira

    wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts

@MrsMccarthy: How many times a day are you nursing now? Just two, right? I think that will help your LP a LOT! How long was it last cycle? I think with all the changes you've made, plus your awesome timing, you have a really good shot!! I'm going to be keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you!! You had BETTER have a December baby with me!

Sorry I have been a terrible cheerleader this month! Work has been crazy! Update on my world: I took my last progesterone pill today, so AF should arrive in the next 10 days, but I'm hoping she'll be here sooner rather than later. Then I'll start Clomid & hopefully have a May POAS date! FX for all the April testers!

@Adira: I do! I am certain of it! I just feel like we did it. Yes we are down to 2 short sessions a day and I ovulated on CD15 like I used to before I had my son. I feel very good about it and think I will see you on the December board with our holiday babies!

@lilyofthewest: oh good! I'll bet you will! In the meantime enjoy some special treats. You deserve them.

    Cycle day 24

    Cycle # 7

Ovulation & POAS dates: Didn't chart this month, but estimating O between March 27 and March 30. Testing April 11 (CD 30) as I will be traveling for work all week. However, I will probably end up packing some Wondfos and testing throughout the week.

    Baby # 1

Your game plan this month We BD'd more often then any month so far which is a feat as I had a wicked cold.

I feel like I am starting to imagine symptoms. I had a cold that I got when I was traveling for work last month (stupid planes!) that I got over about a week and a half ago. Since Thursday I have been a mix of super stuffed up and runny nose but I have had no other cold symptoms. Plus who gets two colds within two weeks! I have never had any issues with allergies and my husband who always does has not had them act up yet so I don't think it's that either. Naturally I turn to Dr. Google and read about Pregnancy Rhinitis. Only problem is from what I read is it's not usually an early symptom (though it's not unheard of). I think I just need to quit over thinking it!

@keepcalmcarrie: I'm so sorry sweetie! I wish this wasn't true. Enjoy your wine and maybe you can test again at te end of April for a BFP? Hugs

    honeydew / 7295 posts

@Adira: I know! I'm going nuts as well. But I did buy some frers on sale so I can probably test a little early.

@Adira: I just caught up from the last couple days so a huge congratulations is in order! That's so exciting!!!

I'm just here on CD 14 twiddling my thumbs and waiting to O. My cycles are so boring when they're 40+ days long! I'm rooting everyone on though and hoping for lots more BFPs this month!
