@simplyfelicity: Hey lady. Get the regular clear blue easy OPKs. They come in boxes of 10 or 20. Its something around $30. If you ovulate regularly, you will start to only use two or three tests a month so the boxes will last you a long time. Best of luck!

@MrsMccarthy: I don't think you are annoying, you're bringing so much positivity to the boards that everyone has to get pregnant as well

Pre-Seed Ladies: has anyone used Conceive Plus? I guess it's another version of Pre-seed, I found it on Amazon and it has good reviews, but just wanted to see if anyone has used this before, or if I should just stick with Pre-seed

@Adira: I clearly haven't been on in a few days! OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW!!! HUGE congrats and you'll have to be our trailblazer and tell us all about what it is like to be preggers with a toddler etc. I am so excited for you!!!

@littlek: 12 dpo. but last cycle's LP was only 12 days, so I stuck with that this cycle for testing purposes.

@ADIRA Major congrats!!!! YAY!
So, I've felt off all weekend and I'm trying to convince myself it's just AF so that I don't get my hopes up.
I had HORRIBLE lower back pain all weekend, and yesterday I started spotting pink (I usually have super dark spotting before AF...but I also had dark spotting before O this month, so maybe all the "old" stuff was out of me?)
I POAS this morning and it was neg. I'm 12 DPO. But I figure I'll keep POAS until AF comes
Which I hope is soon if she's coming because I have an internal US on Friday that was scheduled two months ago. Why does AF have to be so mean???
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@travellingbee: Thank you!! And yes, I'm definitely nervous about the whole pregnant with a toddler thing! I'll keep you all informed on how it goes!
@MaryM: Thank you!! And sorry to hear about your BFN and spotting. Boooo!

Tested with a FRER yesterday afternoon at 11DPO.. stark white BFN. Sigh. I'm holding out the tiniest amount of hope that I'm just not producing enough HCG yet coupled with the fact that I hadn't held my pee for super long either. AF is due in a day or two, so I'm waiting to see if she shows up before I test any longer.

So... SS-orama... yesterday & today, cramps, nausea and heartburn. HOWEVER... I'm worried I'm either making it up in my head or that the antibiotics I'm on are causing tummy troubles. So ultimately we will just have to wait and see.
I must say though, I am definitely feeling PUPO. Just trying not to get my hopes up just in case.

@snowjewelz: BFN on a wandfo this morning. I ovulated almost a week late, so I will POAS every day until my expected AF arrival day of thursday.
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@Crystal: You have plenty of time to be testing then! It's probably too early still! Fx for you I'm optimistic b/c we're having such a good streak!

@HellOnHeels: not to get your hopes up but i had BFNs 9-11 DPO, a faint + 12DPO morning, and a digi positive 12DPO evening!
nectarine / 2466 posts
@MrsMccarthy: No! I totally agree with @KelLeeLeee: Lots of positivity, it's making me feel really positive for this month too. ( At cycle day 7 hahaha)
@drjolene: that's positive your temp is still up, fingers crossed!
It's been a while since I have charted with temps. Can someone remind me the 'rules.' DD has been waking up this week between 230-530. She's up for the day at 7. If she's waking up at 530 say, and I get up and feed her. Should I do my temp then, or wait until 7? This week she slept through the night 3 days and woke up in the middle of the night 4 days so it's kind of all over the place. What's the best time to do it?
nectarine / 2465 posts
@MrsB2012: depending on when she wakes up I would take it then, I think you need 3-4 hrs of sleep before you take your temp, if she wakes up at 230 maybe wait until you wake up for the day, but anytime after that I would take it when she wakes up. I am new at this though, so any vets feel free to chime in

@snowjewelz: @mrsjyw: Thanks ladies! I don't feel like AF is coming yet. As well, I don't normally have much CM around this time of my cycle and I have LOTS of creamy this morning, to the point my panties are damp. I'm trying to act PUPO with the other ladies, but realistic as well. I tell myself I would be ok with having a Jan baby since there's so much that goes on in Dec already.
pomelo / 5129 posts
@MrsB2012: Like Kelleeleee said, it's best to have 3-4 hours of sleep before temping. But it's also best to always temp at the same time...so you might want to figure out what works best for you.
Considering you should take your temp before getting out of bed, I'd hate to leave a LO crying while I took my temperature.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@Crystal: Thank you!!! Sorry to hear about your BFN, but it sounds like maybe it's still early for you? Fingers crossed!!!
@MrsB2012: You want to have at least 3-4 hours under your belt when you temp. So whenever I've woken up around 3:00, I would temp then because I know I probably wouldn't get another 3 hours. So I'd say, whichever stretch is longer (or you think will be longer), temp after that one!

I am trying fervently to scroll back and read everything. Have you told anyone in a fun way yet?

@snowjewelz: AF arrived on the 4th.
Good News- I've been having scanty periods for years (1.5-2 days), this cycle I am now on my 4th day! I think this is FANTASTIC. I think my adrenal supplement is really helping.
Better News- I can drink as much as I want in Italy. I leave in 8 days. I will likely ovulate two days after I leave, but we're going to give it a go right before I leave anyways.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@autumnlove: @HolisticMama: Thank you!!
@HolisticMama: No, I haven't told anyone yet except the Hive and Hubs! I'm telling my BFF on Friday, but it'll probably just be "So... I'm pregnant!" I'm planning on getting Xander a t-shirt though that says something along the lines of "Only Child Expiring" or "Big Brother" to tell family!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@HolisticMama: oh wow that's really great! I'm glad the supplement is working out And you're going to Italy! How exciting. And yes, drink, drink & drink away!
