@MrsMccarthy: How could you think you have been annoying! No way! I enjoy all of the updates. I learn something new from everybody all of the time.
Speaking of which, does anybody know what team green is?
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
@Brawly: it means you aren't finding out the gender of your baby... Like not pink or blue, but green (gender neutral)

@winniebee: O! That is funny, that is totally me, I should have known that answer. We didn't find out with Hadley, it got hard at the end but was so fun to have DH announce the sex to me.

congrats to the s! Trying to keep up but I've been really busy at work.
I had a + on the OPK yesterday so I'm going to move my test date to the 18th (which is still before my period is due but am I REALLY going to go home for Easter without POAS? Course not.)
to those still waiting to test!

@dagret: Gotcha! We're gonna have a lot of 18th testers!
I just realized that every time I see a new update to the thread, I get excited to go in wondering if it's someone announcing their !

Okay, I am sorry if this is so incredibly gross but I have been reading up on EWCM and has been waiting for things to be a little less ummm....dry down there. According to FF, I should O sometime midweek. Anyway, so I just felt like a super gush and thought I had peed and it wasn't (so sorry for ick factor.) I feel like a freaking faucet and I was bone dry yesterday. DH and I have BD-ed every day for the last few days but not yesterday because he was sick. Did I already miss my chance? Is this maybe a sign I am about to O or a sign that I have already O-ed? Thank you!!!!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@simplyfelicity: Missing a day is fine if O is this week! Swimmers live for a while It's hard to tell just by CM whether you've already O-ed or not... I never really used CM as a sign b/c I didn't have too much
I just wanted to tell you that missing a day won't hurt at all, if you get back to it today

Thanks for the well wishes everyone! This is our second child- we have a little boy that just turned 2 in March. I'm excited they'll be close in age, but not too close - if that makes any sense.

@ustechie: that's great! My son will be 2 next onto and we are hoping to get pregnNt ASAP!

@eabae: We hit O-2, O and O+1. Just swarm that place with swimmers! lol

Thought I would share my timings to those who are curios. We hit 0-1 and 0 I think - if not it may have been 0 and 0+1. DH was away for the weekend and the day he got back I got a positive OPK (first one I took as O came much earlier than expected). Last month we hit every day for a week and this month only 2 days. DH thinks I was because he had 'saved up' his sperm (so sorry tmi alert) for me and it was more potent. LOL.
We also used pressed the day of ovulation which I think helped.

@snowjewelz: you forgot p put USTECHIE in the BFPs.
Hey everyone. So more crazy town symptoms over here. Not only am I once again far more exhausted than I have any right to be but TMI I am gassy like I was when I was pregnant. It's not even cute.. My husband was very comvinved too as soon as he experienced it. Poor guy. My soup tasted strangely sweet again today. So yeah PUPO and cray cray

@Mrs.Lilac: Does preseed actually help you to be more fertile or is it just better than a regular lube when TTC? DH and I really don't use lube at all. I have seen lots of bees talk about it and I was just curious.
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
@MrsMccarthy: I had super awful gas around 3-4dpo too! I'm a little crazy today too. Feeling cramps and like my uterus is full and heavy.

Ok, so I broke down and bought the clear blue easy advanced ovulation kit this afternoon. I realized that I felt better and more calm knowing these things instead of thinking about it all the time. Anyway, I felt some cramping on my right side and increased CM, so I tested and at first I got a total negative and was dissapointed because I was pretty sure these things seemed like O symptoms. I read the directions incorrectly and did it all wrong. So, I waited a couple hours and tested again. I got the jumping smiley face which I guess predicts increased estrogen before you actually O. I will test next tomorrow am. I know its really silly but I am happy to see that jumping smile face. I actually feel like I can calm down because I am not constantly wondering. I am so glad to have this place where I can just vent! I hope all you ladies have a wonderful night! )
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
@simplyfelicity: I like to know, too. And I like the advanced ovulation kit because it gives you a few days heads up before you actually O. This month, My tests were in line with what I was feeling and thinking which was great! Good luck!

@simplyfelicity: so I heard that it is good for the sperm as they need either CM or something similar to swim and get to the egg and preseed acts as a CM substitute and as I felt like I didn't produce much, if any, CM I should give it a try. I think any extra help is always good. It comes with an applicator so you can squirt it right up near your cervix! It's isn't romantic so you're best doing it before any action takes place

@winniebee: OMG!!! We can't both be crazy. We must be pregnant! Dying for you to test! So soon!
@simplyfelicity: thanks so much doll. I love OPKs and I totally think its worth the splurge especially when you first start erring to know your body.

@winniebee: Thanks! Best luck to you, too! I am just hoping I remember to POAS with FMU and don't forget tomorrow.

@Mrs.Lilac: Good to know! TMI: But we have never had a problem with things being too dry down there without lube (in fact, it is kind of the opposite-- sorry this is so gross...) So I am thinking I may not need it. I actually saw preseed today at CVS but it was $35. Eeeek!

@simplyfelicity: Usually you'll see watery or EWCM prior to ovulation. And then after you ovulate, your CM will dry up or become creamy (at least, that's how mine is). But some people see multiple patches of fertile CM before they ovulate, so it's not a definite indicator of anything. Temping is the only way to know for sure whether you have ovulated or not (and that only tells you if you did and gives no indications of WHEN it will happen). But I think missing a day of sex during your ovulation week is fine! Most people only BD EOD anyway! Good luck to you!!
@MrsMccarthy: You're definitely crazy. But I also think you're pregnant, haha! The 17th can't come soon enough!!!
@simplyfelicity: Pre-Seed is a lubricant that is sperm-friendly. In a way, it's like EWCM. We've used it both times we've gotten pregnant because I usually don't ever see EWCM!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@MrsMccarthy: Thanks! Btw, your symptoms are looking really promising! They are all textbook BFP signs!
@simplyfelicity: Yay! I use Preseed mainly as TTC friendly lube (I figured if we have to jump into action all the time, it will help since I'm on the dry side), and it is supposed to act as extra good CM for swimmers to survive in!
@ustechie: Congrats!! I totally missed your BFP post! Hope to see you in the Dec board!!

@HolisticMama: an improvement in your cycle is a huge thing! I hope this means good news for you. Pluses OMG Italy!!!!! I hope you have an amazing time and then come back with a baby in your belly along with some pasta and wine (a little wont harm baby).
@Adira: hahah for sure I am. I feel like I am too though. My body is behaving very strangely. I may test early but I'm not sure. Making it to the 17th seems like a long way off right now.

@winniebee: Good to know! Thanks!:) I usually wake up around 3 having to pee and made sure to not drink too much water before bed and made it all the way to six. I got another jumping smile so hopefully, I get the static smile in the next couple of days.
Any chance the estrogen that the jumping smile predicted was leftover from BCP? I am on cd 14, so I hope it is all out of my system by now...

@snowjewelz: I might have to check that out on Amazon if things don't work for us! $35 is the most expensive lube I have ever seen.

13 dpo, still no AF (I swear I used to have shorter LP!), but still BFN
If I'm not pregnant this month, at least hopefully I'm having a longer LP
But I was spotting pink Sunday and yesterday it stopped.
But I'm getting more and more scared that AF is going to be super heavy friday when I have an internal U/S (followup on a cyst).
I mean, I had them done when I was miscarrying and bleeding so I shouldn't be so grossed out, but ew!

@Adira: I broke down and got the clear blue easy ovulation kit. Apparently, I am supposed to O soon based on the jumping smile. I don't have the willpower or wherewithal to temp, I move so much in the morning. Congrats again! Hopefully, we are all PUPO!
cantaloupe / 6634 posts
@MaryM: I'm sorry...but you aren't out til AF shows! Best of luck!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@simplyfelicity: Why is it $35 on Amazon?! I got it at Target and it's $18!
