Whenever my son drops his straw cup on the floor, my husband wipes the straw cup with a baby wipe before handing it back to him. But now I'm wondering if the chemicals on the baby wipes are safe to ingest?
I was thinking about buying water wipes instead.

I personally wouldn't risk it...but yet they do have the "all-natural" no chemical wipes (try Huggies brand). Those seem like they might be OK.
I personally use Paci-Wipes! Because if they are designed to wipe pacifiers then surely they can be used on sippy cups, I'd think.

The water wipes seem like a waste of a money....you might as well wipe it down with a wet paper towel.
Babies'R Us has "face and hand" wipes from their brand....I use those to wipe LO's mouth when he drools. So, maybe try those?

Sounds like it would be simpler and safer to rinse off the sippy straw!

I used babyganics wipes. They're safe for hands and face and I always use them to wipe tables... :T

We have paci/toy wipes, boogie wipes and butt wipes. I have too many wipes!!!

I get the Honest Co, Seventh Gen or Earths Best since they don't have any harmful chemicals or alcohol.

@TurtleDoves: We usually will wipe it down with a wet paper towel but often times we don't have water/a paper towel handy. So my husband has been using baby wipes! We'll take a look at pacifier wipes instead
