I was thinking of getting a couple of reusable snack/sandwich bags for LO's school lunches/snacks, but wondering if it's worth it? I feel like we would go through a ton of bags with we went the disposable route.
Do you use them?

I don't use reuseable snack bags. I'm happy with little Tupperware-like containers. What's the advantage of a snack bag? They always seemed hard to clean.

@Bao: I use them but only for dry snacks - I shake them out at the end of the day and reuse

We use ours all the time!! Mostly for dry snacks, but I've even put cooked oatmeal in one when we had to leave before DS was done eating breakfast (He ate it all in the car!)
We have planetwise ones, I prefer the Velcro with clear front style.
Eta: my son can open and close the bags by himself, which I'm not sure he could do with Tupperware style containers, plus our containers are all glass, so wouldn't work in many situations. If we had plastic and he could easily open and close them, I'd probably stick with that.

I mostly use our 2 for snacks in the car. A lot of the tupperware containers dont fit well and these are easy to zip closed. I just shake or rinse as needed.
In a lunch box I feel like they would get dirty too fast and it would be a PITA to keep up with them.

We have them and we always use them for dry snacks. We throw them in the wash with laundry.

I had some reusable plastic but I didn't trust the cleanliness. I prefer fabric so I can throw them in the wash. I have a few fabric bags from Whole Foods but I'll probably sew a few more.

I have a three-pack of Chico Bag ones that I found at TJ Maxx a few years ago. Now that LO (20 months) has learned to use them, I was just thinking that I need to get some more. I love them for things like pretzels, crackers, and even pack PB sandwiches or veggie burgers in them. Every now and then I run them through the washer if there is something more than crumbs to shake out. I've taken to keeping one full of pretzels or cereal in the diaper bag for emergency snacks on the go.
I also just picked up a Stasher silicone pouch, thinking I would use it for things like grapes & tomatoes for LO. Haven't tried it yet, though. I also recently got some Bee's Wrap that I have yet to break out. One of my students used it for her sandwiches last year.

We had some reusable fabric ones but I felt like they would get gross/hard to clean, especially if the dry snack got crushed in them. I prefer snack containers like this that can go in the dishwasher and that don't get crushed in the diaper bag:

I love them! We had to stop using them though because LO would accidentally leave them within the reach of our scavenger dog and he would destroy it while pursuing crumbs. It wasn't a huge deal with ziplock but after the second eaten planetwise bag I gave up. I still use them for things that are adult use only (for my sandwiches, etc).

@nana87: For some reason, my kid cannot figure out how to use these!!!!

We mostly use containers but have a few reusable bags. I hate the Velcro ones though because we have a dog and even when sealed in the wash it collects dog hair in the washer which is disgusting.

@pachamama: I've had a set like these (this brand) for several years. They have held up well to regular use and occasional washing, and LO figured out how to use them independently at about 18 months.

We have a few of the lunchskins ones and I love them. I actually often use them for my own lunch and snacks because it's lighter than carrying out glass Tupperware.

I just recently ordered some but haven't received them yet. A friend of mine uses them all the time and I got the recommendation from her. I normally use small Tupperware containers, but they take up so much room if you are trying to pack light.
