I do not like Caillou, I really hope LO is never interested in that show because he is a really annoying kid lol. Are there any children's characters from movies or shows your dislike?

I totally think Caillou is annoying but DD just loves him. Barney was another one I disliked, but I got over it since she actually learned alot from the show. Angelina Ballerina before her recent makeover was really petty and I could not believe they had her on public television.

I haven't watched enough of Dora, but at least she seems educational.
I also personally love spongebob, although it probably wouldn't be a toddler show for my kid, but more of a 5 - whenever show.

I miss the television shows from when I was growing up. The original Scooby-Doo, Little Bear, Rupert the Bear, the original Paddington Bear (apparently I liked bears), Richard Scarry's Busytown, stuff like that. Where did those shows go?

Bratz have never been allowed due to their slut-tastic clothing.
However, my LO (who are almost 6 and 10) are into the Monster High dolls but they are at least clothed. And I think they only have one movie out not an actual show.They never watched Caillou or Barney. Dora is still one of my youngest fav's which is cool cause it's educational.

My niece and nephew get parked in front of the tv for hours. The first two have zero educational value, and I can't freaking stand how my niece talks to herself like she's in an episode of Dora. She imitates the high pitch of her voice and everything. It's awful!!! -

I like almost all children's characters... some of the shows annoy me though, because the characters are always doing dumb things and getting into trouble. I'm looking at you, Chuck and Friends.

OMG alot of them....Barney, Spongebob, Elmo, Teletubbies, Caillou, Dora, Yo Gabba Gabba. I don't mind Mickey cause I've always liked the Mickey gang. But what can I do? My LO will eventually just like what he likes!

Most of them. We don't have a tv, so mostly we have no exposure to any of these except for Elmo.
But I was in a patient room the other day and Barney was on and I was horrified. It was mesmerizing and disturbing all at the same time.

sponge bob, teletubbies, yo gabba gabba. i don't know if biscuit has a show, but those books are painfully boring to read! i'm surprised to see so many people hate dora! she's not that bad and at least she seems somewhat educational & interacts with the viewer.

I dislike most if the ones listed. Another one I hate is Hello Kitty. I know that's not a TV character but I hate all the branded crap.

Caillou cause he whines...Max and Ruby, cause Max irritates me with his one-word statements...Backyardigans cause they sing only one song the entire show and then after it's done it's stuck in my head...Wonder Pets cause the one pet doesn't pronounce things right...Dora and Diego cause they talk too loud.
