We had one male teacher last year but he got a new job as a middle school teacher. All female staff for 2013-2014.

Yes - we have one that comes every now and then - I think he is a sub teacher in the county and comes when he is free - everyone loves him, kids and parents!!
Also the Kindergarten Enrichment teacher is a male - he has the kids for the 1/2 day after Kindergarten - my DS will have him this fall!

The director is male but I haven't seen any male teachers.

Not that I know of! But I know the owner's husband is in the office doing office work a lot. Not sure how much he interacts with the kids though.

No, but there was a male intern for a time. I must admit, it took me by surprise, but I think it was good for the kids and for challenging assumptions.

LO clearly isn't in preschool yet, but my BFF's husband is a preschool teacher, and he's awesome

Yes, there's a male teacher in the waddler room (12-18 months) and in one of the pre-k classrooms. There used to be one more, but he recently left for another job and apparently it was a very sad day. We're still in the infant room and all our teachers are female, so I don't know any of the men, but they are/were all longtime employees.

Nope. There's a guy that comes in to teach soccer once a week for like an hour.

There is a male ECE at my daughter's daycare. He is loved by parents and kids alike. He teaches in one of the preschool rooms, which seems to be a great fit for him!

I've worked at several preschools and only 3 teachers have been male. One was especially awesome!! I wish there were more early childhood male teachers. DH teaches 2nd/3rd grade and he said he would teach kindergarten if asked.

DS had one in his preschool. He was a student teacher and the kids loved him.
