There is only one male teacher at our center and he is really great!

Not that I've seen... but I only go in the infant area. The school goes all the way up to pre-K plus they have an after school program for elementary kids so maybe there is one or two in the older areas?

I'm a pre-k teacher and I've worked at 3 centers. I only worked with one male teacher, though I know there's a male teacher at one of our sister schools. I think they are great! DH is a 2nd grade teacher and he's the only male k-2 teacher in the county.

I have been both a preschool teacher and an administrator. I wish their were more male teachers in this field. All the male teachers I have known were fantastic and great role models for the boys.

I didn't see any when I toured. I wish there were though, because S really seems to prefer men over women (when it comes to strangers).
