Hawaii - it's definitely on our "Places to Visit" list. I'd also really to return and revisit Pearl Harbour, I wasn't old enough to appreciate the gravity of the memorial when I visited last.

I want to take him to San Diego and also to this tiny island in the middle of the Puget Sound that I drove to once. It was beautiful, plus the drive up through Oregon and Washington was really cool.

Eastern Europe. He's a genealogy nerd and both of our families are from there so he'd go crazy there.
I'd also love to take our family to Israel. I really really want LO to become a bat mitzvah there like I did..... but of course that's her choice.

@artbee: Oooh, where in Eastern Europe were they from? My family were from Poland, way back. I went there a few years ago, it was amazing.

Europe. We went within a few months of each other several years before we met. It would be a blast to go together.
I would love to take him to Engleberg, Switzerland (near Lucerne)- it was the coolest little place.

Doh. You said SO, not LO. I tell you, I shouldn't post before 8am.:-) my parents drove my brother and me from San Francisco to San Diego. I'd love to do that with my husband and lo!

Hawaii! We sent my parents there last year and they loved it. We're "planning" a huge family trip for 2015 (parents' 40th anniversary, my 5th anniversary, LO will be old enough to have fun, etc.).

@Cherrybee: We have people from all over there. Lots in hungary, romania, and russia, there are some in poland too. I did an eastern europe trip in college with a friend of mine and poland was on it. It was beautiful, but I have to say hungary was by far my favorite.
