Hi all. I am a frequent reader, but I rarely post. I was hoping for some help (or encouragement...) I took this picture this morning at 14 dpo- it seems pretty light so I'm not sure whether I should be excited or not? I know the only thing to do is wait and see, but ugh, I'm anxious! Thanks for your help.

Not too light at all, those lines look great (and are darker than mine were at 15 DPO with my 2.5 yr old). Congrats and welcome!

It's so hard to say. I think it certainly could be fine but it could not be too! I say keep testing for a few days and see if it gets darker. Or call your doctor and see if they'll give you a beta test.

Were they both first morning urine? The only thing that concerns me is that today's line looks lighter than yesterday's.

They were both fmu and yeah I thought today's looked a little bit lighter which is stressing me out.

I would call your doc and ask for a beta. At least that will give you some more definitive info and give you a better sense of how things are progressing. Good luck!

@jbean: I don't think there's a significant change between the two lines, personally. Test again tomorrow or in a couple days maybe. I've even heard of people getting darker tests in the afternoon/night than with FMU, weirdly enough. So what I would do is test a couple more times and then when you call the OB office to make an appointment I'd just ask on the phone and then again at the appointment if needed.

Thanks for the advice- I really appreciate it. I think I'll wait a couple of days and then test again and give my doctor a call in the meantime.

I'm 32 weeks pregnant right now. My lines with this pregnancy looked like this in the beginning too. I think that I had the same worry about them not being dark enough since LO's lines were darker earlier. He's currently kicking and headbutting me.

Thanks for all your responses. I swear I'm not always this anxious. I had a really easy and uneventful pregnancy with my son, but then in January had a missed miscarriage that we found out about at my 12 week dr. appt. Needless to say, it was pretty horrible and I feel like my nerves with this pregnancy have increased 100%. Thanks again!

I would definitely get a beta if it's stressing you, but they don't look bad to me! It's so much harder after a loss. 
For what it's worth, I actually get darker results with second morning urine, no idea why, and I've definitely had fluctuating lines early on with a viable pregnancy. But I'd talk to your doctor. In my experience, after a loss they're pretty willing to do whatever you need for peace of mind. Fingers crossed for you, and lots of hugs! I think they look good to me! I agree with @Torchwood, I would think most Drs would be willing to have you do betas to help with the stress! My Dr has been great so far and while it doesn't take away all the stress it does help just a little. Fingers crossed for you!
