Seriously, are these ugly or not? Thinking of pairing them with skinny black pants for work. I bought them a couple of days ago at Nordstoms rack and I just can't decide. I love them and then I'm like, wait, no, ugly. Then I'm like no, they're cool.

I think they're meh. Not my style at all. If you are feeling that way about them already I would return them. If I don't love a new purchase or end up being iffy about it when I get home it never ends up being worn.

They'd be cuter if they were flat or didn't have the notch. But if they are comfortable and you got a good deal, I'd consider keeping them. But I wouldn't think you were crazy to return them either!

I like them, but not with black pants. I think they would look sweet with a floral dress or ankle length jeans.

I find them cute in kind of a quirky, ugly way. I think it's all in how you wear them. I say rock them unapologetically!

I see what you mean, it's a tough call. And they look like Borns so I bet they are comfy... If you are on the fence I would take them back.

I think they are super cute! In a musty librarian way, which....prior to kids, described exactly how I dressed most days.
I would pair them with a cute plaid pencil skirt, blouse and cardigan.

Cute in a quirky way, and look super comfy, which wins in my book. I'm not sure about with pants though, I think they'd look better with a mid-length skirt.

I would say for sure return them.
There are too many definitely cute shoes in this world to wear shoes that, at best, fall into a gray area/possibly ugly category.

These are some pretty serious mom-shoes. I'm not ready to cross that bridge yet so I would return them.
