Generally, no. What bothers me most about them is that when the lights get turned off, they deflate, and I think that looks horrible. Ugh.
I can see how little ones would like them, though!

Our oldest who is 10 loves them. Granted mine dont get seen unless you come to our house. You cant see our house from the end of the driveway. I also hate how they look deflated during the day...so I keep them going all the time lol.
I love decorating for xmas...have to admit. The inflatable ones dont take up much room at least. Easy storage because they are so small. The kids love em, so thats all I care about.
But they are not my favorite. DH loves them

Nope, I think they're tacky. One house in a nearby neighborhood has a huge yard FULLLLLL of them. We're talking at least 30. In a mass quantity they are ok just because of the pure oddity they create.

i wouldn't get one for our lawn (if we had one), but actually i think they're kinda cute and goofy. if they were strewn all over the place i may feel differently, but it says "holidays" to me and i'm generally a fan of anything holiday-y.
