We can be honest and brag on ourselves here!
Except I'm not. Haha. Sometimes I'll be singing and think, hey I sound pretty good! And then the next verse is incredibly off key and awful. Lol
Are you a good singer?

Yep I am. I'm a classical singer. I took singing lessons with a past member of the Montreal Opera Company from 11 years old to 22. I have videos on YouTube!

DH is! I am not! I can carry a tune and be decent at karaoke but it's not something I'd call a talent or gift lol

@snowjewelz: Same here! Minus the DH part, lol! It's kind of annoying because all of the rest of my family is very musically inclined, and I'm just...passable!

@lovehoneybee: I feel you. DH sings, plays guitar & drums. My sister plays drums & piano. Me? Nothing!

I definitely am NOT. My LO thinks I am though...she loves when I sing. I keep telling her, you're in for a rude awakening when you get older and actually realize I'm horrible

@pui: Wow! Amazing! Jealous. I always wanted to be a classical singer.

@BeatlesFan629: hahah same. J asks for "song?" all the time - I will cherish it while I can
I can sing in tune and have music background but I'm not a good singer.

@BeatlesFan629: They say when you're pregnant the baby enjoys hearing you sing, even if you're bad. I still can't picture LO doing anything but cringe in there when I hit a bad note. Haha!!

In my mind I'm an AMAZING singer. In reality, well...let's just say it's a good thing for DH that I do most of my singing in the car when he is not present.

Only if you enjoy the sound a cat makes when it's tail is stuck in the door.

I feel like I could make cats howl, but that doesn't stop me from singing to E all the time. Among our weirder choices are Yellow Submarine, The "Bear" Necessities (from the Jungle Book), and Mr. Sandman, heh.

@IRunForFun: LOL. Our posts are separated by a second, but we had the same thought.

not at all. Sometimes DD puts her hand on my mouth so I can stop singing LOL
@wonderstruck: i too think my voice is amazing LOL

@bunnylove08: Bahaha I am literally laughing out loud at that mental image! Fortunately my son is still young enough to not know any better and like my singing.

So bad...but man I do love to belt it out...but from teh privacy of my car or home where no one else can hear me except DH and DD.

I'm a pretty good singer, no Broadway star or anything, but I can hold my own during karaoke! lol

I wish! DH is! He leads worship at church and I fall in love all over every time

I don't know.... I did a lot of musical theatre in highschool/community productions and did a lot of singing, and people said I was good... but you know... it was a small town, so I may have just been the lesser of all the evils.

In my sad little head I sound like Rihanna. Like we sound like twins. The same little twang and notes and everything. Except ,y husband recently let me know we do not sound the same and I actually can't carry a tune. So I guess my husband doesn't have an ear for gifted people like myself.

Oh no, I'm awful. I would never sing in front of anyone. A bottle of wine couldn't even get me to karaoke. I wish I could sing so badly, but I stink.
persimmon / 1101 posts
Nope, terrible! Even if I'm alone and somehow hear my voice above the radio, I get embarrassed! LO doesn't seem to mind, though.

I'm terrible. Singing was one thing I always wished I was good at!

I am awful at singing! I really appreciate those with beautiful singing voices, wonderful blessing!

In my past life I sang! a lot! it's how Wagon Sr. and I met (we both sang acappella in college)
I did take some classical lessons in college but I didn't pursue it much further.

I sound decent to people who don't know music, haha. I grew up playing the flute and have a good ear for music, but my voice itself is kind of meh. DH is horribly tone deaf and I'm really hoping D gets my musical ability and not his.
