I never knew this side of me existed.
I was one crazy mama today. I finally chilled and enjoyed myself at my LO's 1st birthday after about 30 mins.
I was a super laid back bride though

What were you freaking out about? I'm a very laid back person, and if lo is safe and happy, than I'm happy. But if she's upset, I'm taking her back.

@artbee: It was the planning and decorating. I forgot what the room looked like and things didn't go according to plan!
I only used 30 feet of my 100 feet of pom garland too. Ugh. All that wasted time and materials... -
@chopsuey119: I remember you worked very hard on that! Oh well, maybe you can sell it or use it for another thing.
My party had a few glitches too. Ah well, lots of grace for 1st time 1st birthday mom. Don't be too hard on yourself. It was your own milestone too!
A little suggestion: write down all the things that went RIGHT so when you look back, you'll remember the important GOOD stuff.

I got a bit stressed during the set up since people showed up early and our cake was MIA but those things were out of my control.
