I was supposed to be left handed but I went to this private school for pre-k and kindergarten and they made me be right handed. So I can write with both mostly with my right. My husband is right handed and our daughter ended up being left handed.

I'm the only lefty so far! I can't do think right handed... I write, eat, throw all left handed! Hubs is a righty. Both our moms are lefties, so I'm hoping for our LO to be a lefty (once we have one!)

i do certain things with my right (probably most things), but i do things with my left - i think i was supposed to be a lefty.

I'm a righty, but when I (used to) play sports like baseball, floor hockey, tennis, or golf I play(ed) lefty. Not quite sure why but it's what I do!

Both my husband and I are right handed, but we think our LO might be left handed. He tends to grab and use his left hand the most. I wish I could be both. When I was younger I trained myself to use the mouse with my left hand to give my right hand a break.

Well I think we're unusual- we're both lefties, and of his five siblings, his older brother and sister are lefties too. So his mother has six children and the first three are lefties, the second three righties. Both parents righties. And DH's older brothers wife is a leftie, as is one if his younger sisters' boyfriends. Six siblings, six partners, equally split hand- wise.
@cyndistar - I'm amazed to hear you say that- it was very much the done thing here years ago and many children were beaten until they used their right hands, but the horrific practice died out in the 60's/ v early 70's. -
I write left handed, but I do most every thing else right handed, throw a ball, stir food, etc..all right.

I'm a lefty, and I always take note of other lefties, both in my life and famous people. Barack Obama is a lefty - actually, 4 out of the last 5 US Presidents were lefties!

I'm a righty, but DH is lefty. A bunch of people in my family (including my mom) are either lefty or ambidextrous, so I'm crossing my fingers for a south paw! I think leftiness is super cool.
