I very much am. I've flown more than 100 times for both business and personal travel, internationally and throughout the US. Flying doesn't scare me and I'm not nervous about flying with or getting through an airport with a toddler.
(I am nervous about having a squirmy toddler on an airplane but that's only because I can't control her and don't know how she will react to having to sit on my lap for an entire flight (or 4).

I think I am, but I always try to streamline, lol.
I am also pretty well informed about traveling with a child, but that can be a toss up, because so many things are out of your control, lol!!!

I would say so? I don't know how many flights I've been on, but I've always loved flying and traveling. Same with you though, a squirmy toddler is just so unpredictable. But I did 20+ hours door-to-door with a 4 month old, so I think I can handle a lot now. Now TWO kids squirming might be a different thing!

Not really. We don't fly often bc my family is driveable.

Not nearly as much as a lot of people, my husband has traveled way more than I have. But we got good at taking off the beaten path trips, taking camping gear, couch surfing, hostels, bicycles for transport. I'm less likely to do that stuff with a LO but traveling that way I think taught us a lot more about traveling than the on the beaten path trips we've taken. Traveling with LO wasn't too bad though, partially because I heard so many horror stories I was preparing for the worst. I'm really worried about traveling with two though.

Within the US, yes. I've done quite a bit of traveling and flying, and love to plan vacations. That being said, we haven't traveled with LO yet...so I'm a total noob at mom travel

I have travelled a lot, internationally and locally and have flown alot. but usually not more than one trip a year so dont know if that makes me a seasoned traveler. I have never been on a plane with a young child

Yep, but I have rarely traveled for work. Less than 10 times. Flown twice with our LO who is 5 months. First time was great. He slept. The second time... not so much. We apologized a lot.

I think I am. I fly several times a year, and I have flown internationally as well. I'm not afraid to fly (I actually really enjoy it) and I am very comfortable with the whole process. I have never flown with a baby before, but I imagine once I get the logistics down, I would be just as comfortable. I flew to Florida two times while pregnant, and that didn't phase me either!

Not flying, no. I haven't flown since...maybe 2007? Long enough that I don't remember. I am perfectly at ease road-tripping, though.

very much, but I'm nervous about flying now that I'm pregnant--I have 3 international flights to go on in the next week and a half, starting tomorrow, and I'm so nervous that I'm going to be incredibly nauseous and miserable the whole time!

No!! I am terrible in airports! I am all over the place, filled with anxiety about flying. I only fly maybe once or twice a year at most? I have avoided flying since having LO #2.

I'm a pretty seasoned traveler, but agree that kids throw everything for a loop. Also, every trip is different since they've been at a different stage every time we've traveled.

Yes, for sure. I've taken multiple flights per year my whole life and done a lot of international travel. My parents were big on travel and they passed the bug onto me. DH learned pretty early in our relationship that I have a very specific routine that I follow in airports!

Yes, I've been to a fair amount of countries and U.S. states including two solo international trips, BUT I've never really traveled with a child. Our first time flying is next week. It will be a short flight though. Wish us luck!

I do hate flying and have severe anxiety but consider it a necessary evil.

I think so. Though, like you, I'm nervous about controlling a toddler on a plane. She was 9 months last time, and I nursed her to sleep... Not happening this time.

I used to commute a few times a month cross country! Dc to sf, and back... did that for maybe two years? Plus weekly domestic travel for business.

Most definitely. I've been to five continents (lived on three of them), 35 countries, and numerous places across the US. I couldn't even begin to count the number of flights I've taken.
LO is also well traveled - she circumnavigated the globe by 7 months old and will be traveling to her fourth country (Indonesia) next month when we go on holiday to Bali; she's 13 months old. Suffice to say, our family loves to travel!

I'd say I became one early, but not as much any more. My dad is a commercial pilot, so we flew all. The. Time. Now that I have to pay for my flights, it's a little harder to handle. I also lived in London for a while, and would travel quite a bit then since it was so cheap.

I would consider myself seasoned. My first international trip was to Thailand when I was 6 months old. I've been to 4 continents, more than 30 countries and lived in two countries other than my native USA. My DH is a big traveler and we take multiple vacations every year.

I'd say yes. I've lived abroad in multiple places and traveled widely domestically and internationally. LO has flown 3 round trips already at 8 months. I'm faster at security even with her than a lot of the folks around me!

Yes, but flying with a small child is a whole different ball game! I used to zip through security, now I limp... carrying multiple bags and crap like a pack mule

I think so. We travel quite a bit internationally, especially around Asia. Everything is so close, it's pretty easy. LO is only 19 months but she's already racked up a lot of mileage points.

I suppose so? I try to have my act together, for example in the security line. It is such a pet peeve of mine when people don't! For example, last time I flew; in the security line a few ppl ahead of me there was this lady. (Childless, older lady.) She pulls this huge bottle of water out and is like, "Can I take this with me??" Meanwhile, I had my shoes off, was holding all of my electronics and plastic bag full of whatever, ready to put it all in the bin. In my head I was like, "REALLY lady?!? Get it together..."
I guess I need to work on my patience.
I suppose it will be a whole new ball game when LOs enter the picture!

Sort of? I'm a road trip pro, but air travel is a little iffier. I've flown internationally like 8 times now, so I know the ropes pretty well. I just get flustered easily in airports.

I would say so, but like you, flying w/ a squirmy toddler brings a whole new set of challenges.
