We hung out with some friends today, and the wife just realized that her husband hated rollercoasters.
I am definitely the thrill seeker in our relationship. I love scuba diving, bungee, jumping, sky diving, rollercoasters, and just getting my adrenaline pumping.
I think this is the biggest difference between me and Mr. Bee!

I used to be - I've done everything you listed! But not as into it anymore once I had kids.
But yes, I am the thrill seeker in our relationship, and DH is the safe, cautious one!

I wasa thrillseeker but never bungee jumped (didn't want to throw out my back). Now I am just a calculated risk taker. DH claims he is a risk taker but I don't think so. Maybe a very calculated one.

In some ways, but I don't think I'd bungee jump or skydive! I like other things, though, that some people dont, like tubing behind a boat and getting whipped around and thrown off, or going crazy on a jet ski. That sort of stuff is fun to me. If I didn't have kids my preferred mode of transportation would be a motorcycle.

I used to have a lot of fun skiing/snowboarding (going super fast, trying to get air) but when I went this year, my ENTIRE perspective changed. The whole time I thought "why would my mom ever let me do this!??!" I'm not sure how I feel about letting my LO do it now.
I hate heights so I never did bungee jumping, skydiving, etc. I love roller coasters though!

Yes, I enjoy doing things that give me an adrenaline rush, however I've definitely slowed down since becoming a mom. I still want to sky dive though, it's on my list.

The hubby and I are both thrill seekers. We hope DS will be too because we can't wait to adventurous stuff again on our vacas!

We're both thrill seekers! We both SCUBA dive, I've sky dived, he's bungee jumped, we both love coasters, etc!

Totally! I like everything you listed other than scuba diving, which is claustrophobic for me. But I've been skydiving and can't wait to try bungee jumping! DH is more or less on the same page. Wheeeeeeeeee!

Nope. I would never have been one, but I was raised by a mother with a serious anxiety disorder who really tried to teach me that the world was a scary, bad place - so I'm even less inclined to seek out scary or exciting experiences. I wanted something different for my children, so I made sure to marry someone who is a big old thrill seeker.
A few months ago I watched him ride his bike on our local velodrome for the first time and just about wanted to run away. But my daughter is eager to do it now, so I guess I got what I wanted! The two of them scare the crap out of me on the regular.
