There are no twins on either side of our family.

I am not a twin. My (paternal) Grandpa is a fraternal twin. He's the only boy in his set of siblings - he has 5 sisters.

I'm not a twin but my aunt and uncle on my dad's side are twins and then my aunt (same one) also had twin girls.

No close relation twins.

I am a twin. Hubs is a twin. Twins don't run in either of our families. Our LO is a single.

My brother and sister are twins, my great grandmother on my mom's side had 2 sets of twins (both sets didn't make it though). I also have cousins that are twins.
So yes, they run in our family A LOT!!

My dad's brother has twin girls (but I'm adopted so it doesn't affect me) and my step mom has twin boys, one of whom has twin girls! Which I just think is totally random because it's not like him being a twin affects his wife's ability to have them (unless she has twins on her side I guess).
DH's mom and uncle are also twins.

My dad is a (fraternal) twin. My grandmother was having a nervous breakdown when she was 40, so the doctor told her to get a job or have another kid. She chose kid, and had twin boys! When they were being bad she'd yell "I should have gotten a job!"

No and yes, we've got several sets of multiples (my grandma, several cousins)

@Shutterbug: That's sooo funny! Very interesting though, my mom was 38 when she got pregnant with my brother and sister, age really must have something to do with it!

@MrsBrewer: I think so too... I'm not worried about being more likely to have twins myself - I think she only had them because of her age. If I have twins, it'll probably be because of fertility treatments.

@Shutterbug: I have dreams a couple times a year that I will have twins. So I am HIGHLY convinced that I will have twins. I wouldn't mind either way to tell you the truth, but I just have a gut feeling

I'm not but my paternal grandpa was a twin and I have a pair of cousins who are twins on my moms side.

I have identicsl twin brothers. As far as I know they're the only ones in the family. DH was really hoping we'd end up with twins.

On my mom's side, I have a pair of twin aunts. Also on my mom's side, I have twin cousins. Both sets of twins are fraternal and female.
I always wished I was a twin!

There aren't any twins that I know of anywhere in either of our families. DH really wants them though. I'm kind of warming up to the idea of one pregnancy and done. I guess we'll see if I'm part of that 10% chance of twins on Clomid.

I have four sets of twin cousins - girl/girl, boy/boy and girl/boy and then one of my cousins (not a twin herself) had twin boys.
If we were to add to our family, I'd be scared I'd have twins! haha

My younger brothers are identical twins. Back in the days of sucky sonograms--my mother was told she was having one baby boy and we prepared for one. When she was 8 months pregnant she found out she was having twins and went into labor the next day!

i'm not a twin but i have a sister/brother twin. one of my other sisters has a boy/girl twin. my cousin on my father's side has twin boys.

Yes, I have an identical twins sister and twins do run in my family. I'm younger by 5 minutes. We are like night and day....it's crazy. That being said, we haven't had a civil conversation in almost 2 years. She hasn't even acknowledged that she's going to have a new nephew in a couple of months.

@mrsjazz: They're 7 years older than me, and there's another brother in between us. Mom labored for 46 hrs with no drugs. One twin was breech and sunny side up...she said they reached up, grabbed an ankle and pulled him out feet first!

My husband's aunt had twin babies (premature, 40+ years ago) who didn't survive. Those are the only twins I know about. I would love twins though!

Not that I really thought, just one set three generations ago and two sets four generations ago on my dad's side. But that was among 11 and 16 other children, respectively! DH has twins that skip every other generation on his mom's side.
And of course, we're having twins.

I'm not a twin, but they majorly run in my family. My sister has twins, I have twin aunts, and twin great-aunts. Crazy! I really wouldn't mind having them.

There is not a single set of twins in my family for as far back as we know...

We have twins on both sides of our family- I have twin 19-year old sisters as well as a grandma who was a twin, and DH has a couple sets as well.
Funny story- the house where my sisters were born must have something in the water, because three successive sets of owners gave birth to twins while living there! -
No twin history in our family.

My maternal grandmother had a twin brother bit he does when they were young. I also have twin cousins.

my MIL's bro and sis are twins, and there are also twin cousins on my husbands Father's side. None on mine that I know of.
