I'm not "allergic" to anything but I also can't eat gluten.

Dairy products. I have anaphylactic reactions.

The list is so long! Peanuts/tree nuts, coconut, palm, chickpeas, sesame, and random fruits/vegetables that are a confirmed allergy, not OAS. By far though my worst allergy is peanut - sometimes I have an anaphylactic reaction from eating food made in a shared facility, like ice cream.

I am allergic to tree nuts. I almost died once when I consumed half a cashew. Worst day of my life.

I am also mildly allergic to raw banana. I can eat cooked banana without any reaction.

@spaniellove: Yeah I do carry an epipen... I just put it in a pocket in my purse.

They're freaking expensive!

@pui: They are! I don't understand why my insurance is so unwilling to cover it. Don't they get that not having it can result in...death?

@spaniellove: Same here. I carried one for awhile (early high school) but haven't since it expired. I probably should get another since the potential problem without it (death!) outweighs the expense but man they are an annoying thing to have to pay $ for.

Shellfish. I don't have an epipen because I'm a vegetarian and it's almost never an issue. I really should though because I've had reactions from things being cooked in the same oil, especially overseas. I had a close call in Turkey from cross-contamination.
