I just started reading Ender's Game. So far it's good!

I'm not, but Enders Game is one of DHs favorite books! I'm more of a fantasy person, he's into scifi.

I've read pretty much all the Ender/Bean books (I preferred Bean's book, ender's shadow, actually), a series that had something to do with worms?, and one or two of his latest series about gates. Maybe a few more. I really enjoy him as an author, but am trying to get books only used or through the library now, because I don't agree with his stance on gay marriage.

I've been interested in reading Ender's Game but never have because, like @Jaypegs, I'm not a fan of his views on homosexuality and gay marriage.
Good idea to get his books used or through the library. Because I don't want a single dime of my money to go to him.

I read the entire Ender's series and loved them. Unfortunately that was years ago before I knew Mr. Card's politics...

I enjoyed Enders game but I recently learned that orson Scott card is not such a great person.

I read them before I found out about his political/personal views, and Ender's Game was favorite of mine for years. He is a great author and I've loved many of his books (I own then entire Ender's Game series - both branches, and enjoyed them all) and unfortunately now I'm having a hard time separating them from the author's views.

It sounds like something Id like but I don't want to support him. I spose I could rent it from the library but I'm just not interested.
