I have a few that I would keep in touch with if I ever left the company. I'm one of the youngest at my company though so I'm not surprised to not have many "friends" compared to my last job.

My BFF from work just left, but we were friends before actually working together and still keep in touch and hangout.
I have maybe a couple others I would keep in touch with via FB, but that's probably it.

Just a few are outside friends but I am friendly with most of my coworkers during work hours.

I'm friends with a lot of people at my job. The age range varies, but it doesn't really matter to me, and if I left I would definitely keep in touch with most of them.

One super close friend at work. There are others I may stay in touch with if I leave, but most of them I'm friendly with, but likely wouldn't stay in contact.
One of my closest friends at work just left and I know we will stay in touch.

I was/am friends w/ co-workers from my last job; like we hang out outside of work and have been to each other's houses, etc.

A couple that I keep in regular contact with, and one I spend time with when our schedules allow.

This probably makes me sound like a B, but I have no interest. I've been burned in this area before, so my personal life and work are totally separate.

A couple at my old company. we keep in touch via facebook mainly. Now that their new company is right next door to mine, we meet up for lunch once in awhile.

All of DH and I's friends are our current and former co-workers, actually! Is that sad? That's probably sad.

Yes! I have several really good friends at work. We hang out together outside of work occasionally also (usually as group - happy hours/etc). I am so happy I found a place that I enjoy working at with great people.

Yup! My old job I had two very close coworkers that I still keep in touch with. My current dept only has 4 people (including me) and 3 of us are super close and text on wknds. There are a few people I have lunch with but being in HR makes it hard to get 'close' with outside depts

I was. I had a group of 5 girls that I worked with (plus 1 of our liaisons) who I got together with outside of work once a month to gab and drink. 3 have left, and now I'm leaving. Since those 3 left, I really only had 1 close friend.

I'm friends with but I think if any of us left we would just loose touch since we don't contently see each other everyday and I know we are all bad at keeping in touch.

I just started a new job so I haven't made any friends yet, but in all my previous jobs there has always been 1-2 people that I connected with and became friends with outside of work as well. I still meet up for lunch with all of them a few times a year.

I've only been here 6 months and I'm friendly but I don't have a counterpart and don't feel comfortable being "friends" with my staff.

No, but I have no "counterparts" at my main work site- everyone except the one person above me works for me, which makes friendships awkward. I am friendly with others in the same position as me at other sites, but I only see them a few times a month, so I'm not sure those friendships would translate outside work.

I get along with and like everyone but I'm 39 and most of my coworkers are in their mid 20's so we don't have a lot in common. I used to join them for happy hours on Fridays after work until I got pregnant, but that was the extent of after-hours socializing with them.

Some of them, yes!! One of my BFFs I met through work, though she now works for another company and lives across the country. We still talk to each other all the time! And then I have 3-4 other really good friends I've met through work. But currently all the people I'm actually working with - I don't know them well enough to be friends with them.

When I was working, yes. Most of my friends were also work friends. Ex and current.

Not really. I'm an ESOL teacher and my planning/lunch doesn't line up well with other teachers. Most of my coworkers are nice, but are a bit cliquish and gossipy.
