It's a holiday weekend here in the USA - Memorial Day Weekend! Anyone else looking forward to this three day weekend? What are your plans? Cookouts, family outings, lounging around the house?
We're taking the littles camping in our Airstream so I should be getting us ready but instead I'm on HB and making a list of what all I'll need to bring. Multi-tasking, right?

Yes! DH and I both have 4 day weekends (also its the first time we have both had a weekend TOTALLY off since Christmas....) We are doing lots of family time, opening our pool, going to the beach, and having a cookout! Also I am planting my veggie garden this weekend! Lots of plans!!

Us northerners just had our May Long weekend last weekend, but I'm still gearing up because I have pre-wedding events for my girlfriend this weekend and I'm the MOH. Lots to do before Friday yet..

We are going camping with friends in North Carolina. I am excited because we haven't seen a lot of them in over a year. We live 5 hours away.

Yes!!! I'm so excited for DH to get a 3 day weekend! We're taking a day trip to the beach on Saturday with some close friends and their 2 little girls, DH is playing in a baseball game on Sunday and we're swimming at MIL's on Monday!

Nothing different here. DH works in retail so they're still opened. Just a regular weekend for us.

@locavore_mama: same. DH's second job is in retail and he will be working on Memorial Day...well he'd be working his regular job too if it wasn't his day off. The news stops for no holiday.

I have a 4 day weekend cause R's day care is closed on Friday. We are going to Chatanoogna Sat morning and coming back on Sunday. Just wanted to out of town for at least a night.

No plans yet, but we might head to my BIL's house....but next Friday starts the crazy two weekends in a row of plane ride away weddings, so we might just relax at home and enjoy the calm before the storm...

Although it's not a holiday here, we're starting the weekend early by driving out to visit family. I'm really hoping we can squeeze in a little sightseeing and grab a bite or two. I've been looking forward to some dimsum (there's very few places in the whole country that serves it)!
