Yep going today

We went yesterday to a local Christmas tree farm. It was awesome! There was an alpaca petting zoo, hayrides, free cider and popcorn, and a huge play ground. People are allowed to bring leashed pets and DD loved seeing dogs everywhere.

Not today, but we'll get one this week!

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: you could always put something underneath; some kind of riser covered by a tree skirt. My grandmother was an interior decorator and her trees were always on top of a round table.

I'm trying to figure out what to do about a tree. We have a cheap artificial one that I hate. Would love to cut one down with LO, but we're all feeling kind of crappy. Next weekend is busy though, so I am debating getting a cut tree (which would still be a lot of work since Id have to figure out how to get it into my SUV with the carseat...unless I went during her nap. We also need a tree stand. Or we could do a small table top tree from Wegmans... Decisions, decisions!

We got ours yesterday! Went to a cute little tree farm. It's our first year with a real tree so we are excited (and nervous)!

We are having one cut and dropped off next weekend! First real tree since we've been married.

Mine's been up for a week, and we were actually later than usual putting it up! (We were waiting for our foster kitty to leave because he weighed about 20 pounds and would have definitely tried to climb it.)

@wrkbrk: we got the Doug fir at HD. Couldn't pass up a $29 tree!

I don't think we're doing a tree this year, real or fake. We have a rambunctious 25 pound puppy who loves to chase and attack shadows, lights, and shiny things, so a tree seems like an invitation for disaster. I might get a small, pre-lit table top tree just to have something...
