We get a real winter so she needs some serious winter boots now that she's walking. I'm leaning towards Sorels.

@locavore_mama: It snows here too! lol
I'm hoping for a mild winter like last though. Can't stand freezing cold weather!

@chopsuey: dude! You guys get flurries! Hahha I think a few years back you actually got some that stuck? :;)

Hmmm, I haven't even thought this far ahead but LO is walking now (just these past couple of days!) so we will need them. My dad works for LL Bean so I'll have to check if they make boots. I'll need a pair for daycare too though. hmm...more to shop for! lol

@locavore_mama: HAHA! Yeah, when I was pregnant with M. Atlanta was shut down for a week!

I'm also leaning towards Sorels. I'm glad I didn't buy them a few weeks ago cause her little feet are definitely growing. I'm gonna need them in the next month (if it's snows early) or in 3 months when it usually starts snowing.
I'm thinking of getting Sorel Snow Commanders based on reviews online.

We definitely don't get a real winter! But it's a tad chilly here and boots are too precious on little girls. We had precious purple fringed boots from see Kai run this year

@chrispygal: haha small world, my dad works for LL Bean too. We get real winter and need real boots, especially since LO will be walking by winter; I've got to see what LL Bean has for little wee boots.

I'm trying to decide if rainboots with fleece inserts are enough in the PNW. In the past, I've bought DS Kamik snow boots (we drove to the snow for winter vacations so we actually needed them).

LO had Uggs last year and I will probably get her another pair this year since they are pretty versatile and match with most clothing. It doesn't rain much where we live (So Cal) but I want to get her a pair of rain boots because they look so cute on kids!

Maybe sorels for Charlie. I want to get uggs for olive because she is extremely picky about her shoes these days and will only wear what's super comfy. But it snowed so much last year she probably needs some winter boots.

I'm thinking Hunter boots! We get lots of rain and with some thick socks they should be warm enough. Only like 30 degrees here during winter

DD wore black Kamiks last winter. She has small, slow-growing feet so they should still fit this year (they were a size too big last year). BUT her girly side has really kicked in, and I think she will refuse to wear them this year. I may buy some pink or purple just to avoid a tantrum every time we need to leave the house.

Yes, a pair for fashion and a pair for the snow. It doesn't always snow a lot around here, but we are starting ski lessons so she needs boots for that. Not sure what kind yet.

I guess I'll have to! Last year DD wasn't walking yet, so no need for snow boots or a snow suit. This year, she needs to have all of the winter gear b/c I know she's going to want to play in the snow.

yeah. it gets SO COLD and super snowy from November-April. He will be two halfway through winter so I anticipate us playing in the snow fairly often this winter.

Probably not... We don't get snow And my DD would not wear the suede boots I got her last year...

DD for sure needs snow ones for daycare...Just not sure which ones - I don't want anything too heavy that feel like bricks on her!
