DH's parents recently did at their 40th anniversary. But they made it silly. They said things like, "I promise to learn how to use the remote control," and added some sweet things in there too. DH and I will not be doing a vow renewal. The wedding was enough stress for me.

No! Lol planning the wedding was stressful enough. I don't think DH would ever want to either.

We might do a low-key anniversary party at some point. We do like to read our vows to each other on our anniversary every year though.

Yes! We were so young and naive when we got married. We'd like to do a trip with family and close friends around our 10th or 15th anniversary and we'll do a private vow renewal with just our kids and our pastor.

If we ever did, it would be a private beach ceremony, just us. Either that or I need to get total amnesia of how stressed I was planning a wedding. After it was over I kept saying we were never going to do that again, lol.

I do!! We have a huge backyard that will be awesome for a small vow renewal. Maybe 10 year?

I don't think so, but I might change my mind in the future come a big anniversary or something.

I'm undecided, though if we do anything it will be immediate family only. Maybe after 10 or 25yrs? If we did, I'd like it to be somewhere tropical as we didn't do the destination wedding thing.

Probably not. I don't ever need another wedding. And I thought it was one of those "kiss of death" things, like getting someone's name tattooed on your body. I'm too superstitious to take the chance.

Yes, my husband really wants this and wants our children to see us do it for our 10-year anniversary, then again at our 25th, and 50th. I think it's a sweet sentiment!
It would be a very small, intimate occasion. Nothing as elaborate as a wedding.
