from his/her first haircut?
I wasn't planning on it, but my sister bought us a little first haircut keepsake..

I also got a gift for keeping first tooth and lock of hair, but I honestly don't think I'm into having those trinkets around. Might do it but tape it into a baby memory book......that's what my Mom did.

@ChopSuey119: lol! I don't know why I feel that way, it's not really any different from saving a lock of hair or a tooth. Maybe because it's not as aesthetically pleasing? *blush*

Yes, we saved his hair from his first hair cut. They made us a little certificate that says "Yay! I got my first haircut!" and it lists the time, date, and name of the hairdresser. I love it!

My MIL also bought us a keepsake. It is a 3 boxes that stack on top of eachother. Hospital bracelet, lock of hair, and first tooth. The tooth grosses me out.

And it will go in the baby book.

Yup we did for DD1... Got the certificate too. Will do the same for DD2. In our culture, we wait til after their 1st bday to cut their hair!
