Yes! No bitching allowed if you don't vote, and I like to bitch

I usually vote, though not always, and I didn't register to vote until I was 22 or 23. But DH has never voted! I made him register earlier this year, but I don't know if he will actually go and do it or not. I think he will.
I need to figure out the other stuff I can vote for-- the non presidential stuff like senate, certain questions (medical marijuana, I think, is on the ballot in MA?). But I will vote.

I've voted in every election to this point, but I'm embarrassed to say I have been in my own little baby bubble and not paying much attention to politics. With that said I don't think it's a good idea to vote since I'm not informed about it. So, unless I getmy butt in gear and start paying attention, I do not plan to vote this year.

Already sent in my absentee ballot because hopefully I'll be too busy with a newborn to vote in person. And my vote "won't matter" in my state either...but you have to think it does!

I'm registered, but I won't vote for a candidate that I can't totally back. And between the two big presidential candidates, I cannot fully support either.

I'm torn. I want to vote, I should vote. But I cannot in good conscience give my vote to either of the big candidates. And I haven't found a third party candidate I truly support, either. I keep hoping I'll have an epiphany, but it's not happening

I am planning to vote!

I had every intention on voting in this election but won't be able to because I'll be 8 hours away. I was going to be home (I live in Canada) and was planning on voting so I never applied for an absentee ballot and unfortunately at this point the deadline to do so has passed. My grandfather is on his death bed so instead of going home and voting, I'm going to visit him.
So yes @yoursilverlining: it will be inconvenient to vote and no I won't be voting. I could justify it by saying that my state will go for my candidate anyway, but even if that weren't true I think I'm making the right decision.

I'll vote-- one of my FB friends has posted that she isn't voting... if anything, I think people should vote for local elections, if anything, since that impacts our daily lives the most.

@Shutterbug: Oh thanks! And, duh, I have the voter booklet on my counter and haven't bothered to open it, but it sounds like everything is outlined in there. How is it not a bigger deal that medical marijuana and assisted suicide are on the ballot? I've seen 16 million ads about Scott Brown and Elizabeth Warren, plus pres, of course, but exactly 1 suicide one, and 0 marijuana ones. Actually I answered my own question-- $$$$.

I voted no to voting. I dont feel I should when I have not been following along and don't know much. Im in California.
I feel bad :-(.

I already did vote, I do a mail in ballot. I'm in Florida so I know my vote could make a difference.

@Shutterbug: another ma resident that will absolutely be voting! I feel pretty strongly about civic duty. My Nana's dying wishes were also that everyone vote, she voted with an absentee ballot from her deathbed, we're pretty hardcore about voting

I am voting, even though it doesn't much matter in my state. I am more concerned with the close senate race. Also, I can't wait for the election to be over so that all these ads on TV will go away. Do they ever actually impact voters other than just by annoying them?

I always vote. And in Canada you don't have to register, you just have to show up with proof that you're a citizen. Your politic system always baffles me.

@Ree723: absentee ballots are counted as long as they are postmarked by the election day. Send that sucker in!

I am voting by mail because my due date is 11/7.

Heck yes! I'm so excited. This is the first presidential election that I am registered for and I've been following along super closely. My state always goes the way I would vote but that doesn't minimize how important it is for me as a woman to exercise my right to vote.

Hellz yes! I live in a swing state for the first time in my life, so my vote really matters this time.
(FYI, I always voted previously, even when I lived in a non-swing state.)

Already voted! I've been volunteering in our senate race which is one of the closest in the nation. And I know that my state will go the other way for the president, but I don't believe in letting the majority drown out my opinion. Numbers say something even if they don't change results. Who knows, maybe my state will be closer this year and candidates will start caring about us too!

There are two weeks till the Election Day. Project vote smart is a good website to learn about the issues. And don't forget to vote for your local candidates! Those outcomes have significant impacts on your town and state.

I couldn't imagine looking at a woman in another country who didn't have the right to vote and telling her I didn't feel like it or didn't want to learn about the issues. Being able to impact our country is exciting, empowering, and important!

Yup! My mail in ballot has already been filled out. I just need to get the DH to do his so I can drop them off.
