I just bought some as we gear up for our TTC#2 journey.
I stopped after I had DS and didn't take them through nursing him for a year.
Need to more diligent.

yes - but only because i bought a pill box with M-F and put them in there!

Yes, but I just traded it out for my birth control. I was on the mini pill prior to TTC, so I was VERY diligent about always taking it.

Yep - I had been taking the pill for 7+ years, so I was used to always taking something at night before bed, so I just switched to taking prenatals and haven't stopped!

Meh. I probably remember every other day. I used to be much better about it.

Yes, I have only missed a few in the last 3 years.

I stopped because I was taking a bunch of prescription meds for awhile and didn't want to add something that could make me nauseous. Just started again last night, and I think I'll be pretty good about it! I was when I was pregnant.

Erg, no, I'm not good at remembering. I even got the gummy ones so I'd look forward to taking them and I still forget.
pomelo / 5000 posts
Pretty good. I got a relaxed about it as TTC dragged on, but I'm better about it now. I take them at night, so they're right next to my toothbrush and it's part of the routine.

@coacheswife123: I do this too.
I started before I got pregnant with #1 and will keep taking them until I'm done having children.

@Stacy: I ran out after I weaned and have been using the rest of my regular multivitamin but I am thinking I will buy prenatal when I run out and use them until I'm done with having children too!

Yes - but probably only because I buy the gummies (much easier to take, just pop them in your mouth, no water needed) and I leave them right next to the coffee maker....hard to miss them there
persimmon / 1313 posts
Not at all. I was never on the pill so I've never had to remind myself to take something every day. I've gotten better lately!

I try - DH and I always took a multivitamin, so I just replaced mine with a prenatal. We'll try to remind each other at dinner time to take our vitamins with food.

@bakerbee: Same here! I no longer use the birth control alarm on my phone (ha), but I still take it at the same time every day, when I used to take the mini-pill (before bed).
pomelo / 5228 posts
Yep! I have an old lady pill box on the kitchen table so I remember my pills at each meal.
persimmon / 1177 posts
Yes, every morning! I took a regular multivitamin + other supplements before TTC, so I was already in the habit.
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
You just reminded me to take mine.
During the week I am usually pretty good since work is routine. But on weekends or whenever I'm not at work, the bottle is right next to my bed but I'd forget! I always apologize to my baby when I realize I didn't take it haha.

I'm actually really good at remembering. I'm also on some others meds for TTC, so it helps that have to remember to take all of them!
cantaloupe / 6059 posts
I take them for the first 25 weeks of pregnancy, and then I switch to an herbal supplement in a strong tea form + calcium pills. I actually do better about remembering once I make the switch.

I just bought some, but I'm awful at taking them. I need to be more diligent about it.

Ha, I just took one when I saw this title. I keep them on my desk to remind me to take every day, but try are blending into my desk!
I should keep them in a more prominent location.

Yes. I've taken one every day since I got pregnant with LO #1, all the way through nursing and I never stopped because I knew I was going to be ttc within a few months after I weaned. So it's been 2+ years!
pomelo / 5720 posts
Pretty good. I miss a day here and there but overall I'm consistent.
cantaloupe / 6687 posts
I was so good about them before LO and during the entire pregnancy and while nursing. Then I just stopped taking them and it was hard to get back in the habit when TTC for #2. I have definitely forgotten a few times here and there which makes me feel so guilty. When I finish this bottle (and my next bottle) I am definitely switching to gummies

Yes but I also have other meds I take so it's become a habit for years. I actually have one of those old lady pill boxes and I fill it once a week, so if I forget one in the morning, I see that the box is full so I can remember later in the day. I also use to argh my phone alarm as a reminder
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
Yeah I was good about it and still am. I leave them by my toothbrush and take them before bed every night. I find if I take at the same time it's easier to remember.
persimmon / 1167 posts
Yup. Mine have probiotics and ginger in them. So I miss them when I don't take them.
hostess / papaya / 10219 posts
Yes I've been taking the gummies for 2.5 years now- 6 months before I got pregnant, 9 months of pregnancy, a year of breast feeding, and now ttc again I like the gummies so I always take them happily!
