I think I assembled both cribs in this apartment. A friend helped Bee assemble Charlie's crib when we lived in the old apartment. Bee's great at assembling things, but she was pregnant at the time. 
Assembling furniture doesn't come naturally to me, but I can do it just fine. My Achilles heel is when the screws get stripped though. Then I just want to scream the words IKEAAAAA at the top of my lungs!
Are you good at assembling furniture? Who assembled your cribs?

I am. I assembled our crib & changing table. I was extremely pregnant but DH was deployed so I was kind of stuck either way.

haha i hate ikea because i hate having to assemble furniture!!
i'm good at it but don't enjoy it.
usually i have DH assemble.

I used to be... grwonig up I put our computer desk and other furn together...
now I have DH, so he does everything FINE BY ME

I'll do all of our assembly. Hubs is definitely not talented in that department, but that's okay.

DH is the worst furniture assembler I've ever seen! He ends up with things upside down and backwards! I prefer to do it with him to ensure he follows the directions carefully.

I'm terrible and my DH is pretty good but very slow at assembling furniture. I'm hoping we can hire someone to assemble our furniture, it's such a burden!

I'm not bad, but DH wants to take control so I let him. He assembles pretty much everything in the house. Not complaining.

I assembled most of the baby stuff since I wasn't working at the end of pregnancy. My husband is better at figuring out how to build stuff but I'm better at assembling things because I read instructions

I'm awful at it. We didn't put the crib up until after LO was born because of superstition, and she was in the bassinet anyway. My FIL came over and helped DH do it.

We always do it together. We could both do it ourselves, but it's usually much easier with 4 hands. I always have DH install curtain rods and the like though.

My husband usually assembles everything. Before I got married I would assemble my own stuff, I was pretty good at it but it would take me a while to "get it" especially when the instructions arent so great

We do it together and we always argue, always! I hate IKEA for this reason and if I can help it, will never purchase furniture from there again.

i generally assemble all the furniture! DH gets too annoyed/pissed off/frustrated and ends up breaking something by accident.
we both assembled the crib...I wanted to do it together. Read..I read the directions aloud and made sure the right pieces went into the right places, but he actually assembled it. I didn't want to hurt his pride!

I am, I assembled our huge IKEA sectional couch pretty much by myself with only some directed help from DH. But I'll probably have to get my dad or FIL (depending on when we do it since FIL is coming in January and baby is due in February) to help DH put together and crib and the bookshelves we're buying for the baby's room (three of them, I must be loony! I'm going for a "built-in" look around a window :)).

Neither of us so we hired someone but I did manage the dresser! It had much less pieces than the crib.
