Pre-kids I was so on top of keeping my hair nice. I went every 8 weeks. Now...my last hair cut was 4 months ago. I finally booked an appointment for Friday. I cannot wait!!! I hate my hair!!!

my hair's been super long so i didn't really get into going to a nice salon until a few years back. i got referred to an amazing stylist and i fell in love. paying ridic amounts of money for hair appts (3 to 4x a year).
i just got a trim last week at a place nearby for half the cost of what i usually pay and am really happy with it
i'll probably keep going to the nearby place for the next year or so

I'm getting my hair cut tomorrow too! Haven't been since before lo was born. But my excuse is that I wanted it to grow long so I can donate it.

I am terrible at it. I have the kind of hair that needs regular upkeep (thick and curly and grows insanely fast). I don't even have kids yet! I will be a disaster once I do, haha.

I'm terrible about going! When I first graduated from school and had money to go to a real stylist, I still only went 1-2x a year. At some point, I started caring more and went every 10 weeks.
At this point, I haven't been in 5 months and I need to find someone new who is closer. My old stylist is a 45 min drive... no time for that now!

I always go once a season, so 4x a year. I have really long hair though, so it doesn't require a lot of maintenance (plus I don't want to spend the money getting it done every 6 weeks)

I have long hair as well and go maybe every 3-4 months when my highlights are completely growing out. It's so expensive but I love the girl who does my hair and won't go anywhere else. I'm terrible at going more often.

I have to have it colored every 4-6 wks, but I only get it cut every other time.

I don't go enough. I go every 6 to 8 months. I went in August and I need to go again.

I am only because my mom does hair for a living so I can get it done whenever I want, for free, and LO can tag along easily.

It's been 6 months since I got my hair cut. I have an appt on MONDAY AND AM SO EXCITED!

I'm okay with it. I'm keeping it long and I don't really do anything damaging anymore though so it's not a huge deal. It's been about two months and I'll probably go either next month or in January.

I need to be better about it, I have an AMAZING stylist who does my hair for free (and she is the most expensive stylist I've ever heard of in my area) and I get my hair coloured a much darker colour than my natural one. I need to be more on top of it.
Should be every 4 - 6 weeks, but it usually ends up being like every 3 - 4 months!!!!

Since becoming pregnant (2 years ago!) I've had my hair cut 4 times...Awful! I am in dire need of a cut. Soon!

@Andrea: I know I'm so excited. I chopped a few inches off last week because I was so tired of the length.
I'm gonna have my guy cut texture and maybe 2-3 inches off the length. -

@Andrea: Family friend and her and my husband trade services (he's a landscaper/lawn/snow maintenance). She's seriously amazing. I'm spoiled!

I'm horrible at it. I usually get one every 6 months but I definitely need to go more often. My hair is so long now! I need to cut off at least 3-4 inches!

No I usually just trim the ends myself when it's getting unruly.

I haven't gotten my hair cut in 5 months. I'm attempting to grow it out but I should at least get it trimmed...

I seriously cut my hair like once a year. I'm so bad about it. lol. I have blunt bangs but I just trim them at home.
