We do trick or treating, and maybe this year we'll go to a haunted house! I'd like to start watching The Great Pumpkin with the kids every year too. And definitely, going somewhere fun to pick out some pumpkins!

We will do some crafts, go to a pumpkin patch, go trick or treating with friends and eat candy on Halloween.

We always go to the harvest festival at a local farm and the Halloween carnival at Liam's school. We always carve pumpkins a few days before Halloween and we will go trick or treating and pass out candy on Halloween night. I didn't do it last year, but for a couple years I made a special Halloween dinner: meatloaf hand, monster mashed potatoes, and brussels sprout eyeballs, lol.

We will only have a newborn so not much but one thing I am super excited about is starting a tradition of taking a photo of her in her costume and putting it in a Halloween frame so we can put out the framed pictures each year. I love the idea of a cute little walk down memory lane each year!

Day care has a fall festival next Friday. Then we are going to a pumpkin patch, corn maze, etc one weekend. Hopefully we will carve pumpkins, all depends on DH's travel schedule. If not, R and I will paint them. Then day care does a Costume parade and class party. Then the neighborhood does a party/get together before ToT.

We will carve pumpkins again this year! We will likely take her trick or treating for the first time this year.
Maybe watch "It's the Great Pumpkin , Charlie Brown"!
Daycare has a party and takes them trick or treat around the business Park. If I'm not back at work we might take her in just to participate.

Trick or treating:handing out candy on Halloween night. In the coming weeks we will have a pumpkin carving ad painting party, go to the pumpkin patches and enjoy general festive feelings. I love holidays! Christmas and Halloween are my two favorites and I never skimp. I've never spent a Halloween without a costume and in 37!

@mrbee: Our neighborhood goes kind of crazy for Halloween. It's one of the reasons I love living there - growing up, I always lived in condos or apartments and we never got many trick or treaters.

@Mamaof2: I think there are some tame haunted houses around here... where the ghosts have like a sheet over their heads!
@mrs. tictactoe: That sounds awesome!! Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, just because the whole neighborhood gets to interact a lot... pretty unusual for a holiday!

We're going to a pumpkin patch this weekend. We'll probably paint pumpkins rather than carving them w/ DD b/c she's too little for carving. We'll also go trick o treating. It will be DD's first time doing that.
