I have a bright blue pair of jeans and just bought a green pair. I love them! I might wear them for LO's birthday party next week. Not sure what to wear on top yet.... something more subtle I suppose! How do you wear colored denim?

I love the trend on others - but with my recent weight gain, I don't want to *highlight* my badonkadonk. Although a dark red might be doable . . . I digress.
I think a fun nude/ neutral top would be the perfect accent to colored jeans. Or a lighter color in the same family for a tonal (but still flattering/slimming) effect.

@Andrea: I think colored denim would be super cute with a white top (not a t-shirt...something with a little shape and texture) and a distressed jean jacket. Pair it was some cute flats and your good to go!

@Andrea: I would totally be rocking colored denim (I love coral and kelly green) if I wasn't preggo right now and my thighs weren't the size a small country.

I have cobalt blue, a medium darker pink and a pair of REALLY red ones... I wear them with solid colored tops... usually a neutral... the red jeans work best with black, the blue with a charcoal and the pink I've done with navy....
for Valentine's Day, I wore the pink jeans with a red sweater, and it worked pretty well.

This is a trend I'd love to wear, but it looks funny on me. If I could wear it, I'd wear them super skinny with a billowy white tunic and gold gladiator sandals.

Yes, I love colorful jeans! I have a few colors, but I'm wondering at what age you should stop wearing colored jeans? My 10 year old niece is wearing jeans that I would wear...is that wrong?!
