Nope! I never went back on! We went from the abstinence method, to pulling and praying, and next month we are going to TTC #2!

Nope. We were NTNP but now we're back on "do not get pregnant" orders from the doc so I imagine we'll just do some pull and pray.

Condoms. But we don't use them properly so it wouldn't be a surprise if I got KU this way and we would be ok if I did. It's also how LO was conceived.

Breastfeeding. I got a prescription for the mini pill but haven't filled it yet
nectarine / 2973 posts
Nope. I don't like taking hormonal BC so we are currently just using condoms.

No. My body doesn't react well to hormonal birth control. DH will eventually get a vasectomy.

IUD - not messing around over here until we are sure we are ready for another!

I have bcp in my possession but can't get myself to take them while breastfeeding. So stupid because I do not want to get prego right now! I

Nope. BC does horrible things to me, so we pull and pray. It worked for years until we decided to TTC.
cantaloupe / 6791 posts
Nope! I don't want to be on hormonal birth control again and we're going to be TTC #2 at the end of the year anyway. Just pull and pray these days.

Mirena. I got that shit locked down for 3 more years. Its a beautiful thing.

@loveisstrange: +1.
I'll just get back to back Mirenas until I can't anymore, DH will never get snipped and my MIL had my SIL 11 years after getting her tubes tied, so no to that for me!

I'm on Paragard. I was between that & the Mirena but I loved that Paragard was non-hormonal and that it lasts up to 10 years. The periods are beastly (I'm on mine now) but the 99.9% security against pregnancy (we're almost positive we're one and done) and not having to even think about it is worth it! In 9 1/2 years when I have to get it removed my husband will get a vasectomy.

yup. after researching all the bcp methods, i just couldn't get on board with mirena and paraguard. actually what made me go back on bcp were my super heavy crazy periods. i'd been on birth control or not had a period for 5 years and i wasn't used to it!
now it's all regulated though it is a pain to take a pill everyday!

No, but I'm pregnant. I'm not thrilled with messing with my hormones though so we won't be using hormonal birth control after I give birth. BC is such a pain! I wish there were better options.

The pill. Tried the Paragard, but it did not work for me at all
nectarine / 2358 posts
Pregnancy. Oh wait that's the worst kind. Pretty much 100% failure rate
After baby I don't know if I'll go back on the pill or not. It kind of messed with my body in word ways so maybe we'll just wing it!

I think I took the pill for one cycle pp. We're ttc now but if/when we have a second I will be going on some type of very reliable bc. No more pull n pray.
pomegranate / 3577 posts
No, but I'm toying with the IUD idea after this pregnancy. I've never had one. I did okay on pills, and I rather enjoyed only having 4 periods a year... I hear the IUDs can really wreak havoc on your cycle.
grapefruit / 4817 posts
Yup, bc pills. Tried to get Mirena, but had a failed placement, so that'll never happen again. Then tried nuvaring and had suicidal thoughts, so switched back to the pill and have been good ever since.

Copper IUD.
@ILoveLettie: how long have you had it? I've had mine 6 months and the last three months my periods have been almost normal! So there is hope!
pomegranate / 3863 posts
Nope! My body did not react well to going off BC and then getting pregnant within a 6 month period. My hormones were so out of whack.
kiwi / 566 posts
@lamariniere: About three months, and this is my worst period yet...so yeah, maybe there is hope! It would be awesome if they started regulating after this one, because this one is getting to the point where I was considering talking to my OB about trying hormonal BC instead if it got any worse!

Nope, I will never go on the pill or any form of birth control again ever in my life! PnP or Condoms. Currently we are TTC so no BC!
pineapple / 12566 posts
@ILoveLettie: my dr said it could take up to 6 months for my body to get used to it, and that has been pretty true for me. I hope it works out for you!

Nope. We were PNP for 4 years until TTC and then again after LO was born. I was on BC for years and didn't like it. Now we are starting to TTC again!
