I used to be when DD was younger but not so much anymore. We've learned that she's a pretty deep sleeper.

Absolutely. Way too much. We bring our humidifier (our white noise) and nightlight with us when we travel! We actually DON'T travel much because we want to protect his sleep.

aside from a small window right after he falls asleep and right before he wakes up, i'm not protective. when lil' cb first came home, i was, but we quickly learned that he can sleep through a lot of noise. seeing as how he lived in a busy apartment building in seoul for the first 15 months of his life, i think he got used to sleeping with noise!

Even though he sleeps pretty soundly once he's down, I'm pretty protective. When we were on the road last week, I actually managed to get him to sleep in the travel crib! I hid in the hotel bathroom for awhile and then crawled to my bed to make absolutely sure I didn't wake him!

Not really, she is a deep sleeper.

Nopes, I'm pretty lax...LO can sleep through anything, thanks to our three loud doggies. Even when we are out and about all day, she's good about napping in the car, my arms, etc.

@regberadaisy: that's what the white noise is for! We don't find that it helps LO sleep better but it allows us to not tiptoe around because it drowns out environmental noise.

I am soooo overprotective of my LO's sleep! I'm sure my family and friends think I am totally bonkers and just being a paranoid first time mom but they don't know how difficult he can be when he's an overtired, crank mess!
