Bee and I were just talking about this, and she said that she is more practical than romantic these days.
I think she does have a romantic side, but we're just so busy and stressed from parenting to really focus too much on it right now! Parenting is definitely getting more manageable as the kids get older though, so we'll probably exit "survival mode" at some point. I feel like we're almost there...

Definitely more practical! Especially speaking of gifts and whatnot. My anniversary gift from DH this year? Slippers, 2 sweaters, and a new set of Glass Snapware food containers! Truthfully, I couldn't be happier! It was a perfect gift!

Practical, I am practical to a fault. My husband is less practical, but still more pratical than romantic.

I think we're both more practical; DH 100%. We don't really do gifts since we talk about all big purchases. We do love spending time together but we don't need to do romantic dinners our fancy dates... I guess I find romance in mundane everyday things?

I think we are naturally more romantic people but daily life has us veering towards practical. We just talked about this last night and decided that we wanted to try a little harder to be less practical

Fairly practical. If I had to divide it up, I'd say as a couple we are 90% practical, 10% romantic. It isn't hard for me to find the romance in everyday life, though, so there's that.

We're far more practical than romantic these days. I figure we'll be this way until LO is much older...just too much going on! Not to mention, going through some fertility struggles will certainly make things far less romantic.

Practical. I was just thinking about a really cute book I made my husband for his birthday (I think it was 4 or 5 years ago) and trying to come up with something heartfelt like that for this year, but it's so hard!

Practical. We share a bank account so big extravagant gifts are 1) too hard to hide and 2) effect both of us/our family, so we just skip giving gifts anymore. His birthday is next week so I plan on getting something small so he has something to open, but I have no idea what.

DH is still fairly romantic. I'm definitely practical....I'm getting him a leaf vacuum for his birthday next month because he hates raking and bagging leaves! Though he loves his "toys" and I'm trying to make his life easier, so I guess that's a tiny bit romantic

I have a pretty romantic soul, but Im probably more practical in action these days. DH is practical to a fault.
